For me the chapter was a little boring but I absolutely loved Hiruzen's reaction to Hashirama's chakra. He almost had a heart attack! So adorable

This chapter should not be titled "Hashirama Senju". It's more like a side story. It did not talk about Hashirama but Tobirama hating having under control. Tobirama is so uneasy with Orochimaru around. Poor guy, the very opposite of Hashirama.

Orochimaru's intentions now seem very unclear. At first we all thought that he might be wanting to help Sasuke so that he can end Madara because he knows he can't beat Madara and once he is under Moon Eye Plan it will be all over for him. But if we date back, we realize that Orochimaru always mentioned that he just wants to live longer and longer to learn all the jutsu in the world and become the strongest, which could mean he has no intention of joining the war himself, he just wants to live as much long as he can.
But it is rather confusing why he stopped Tobirama and Hashirama if he really wants to stop Madara quickly before they kill all the shinobi in the world. Does he thinks that no matter what happens, Madara would be stopped?

The chapter ended just as things seemed to be heating up. And now we have to wait another week for the awesomeness!

Seems to me like we will also find out why Oro attacked Konoha. Very interesting.

Hashi didn't break free of Edo. He's still under edo (unlike what happened with Madara when Kabuto released the Edo).It's just that Oro is having difficulty restraining him.
