[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 616 Discussion and 617 Predictions

A bit of an anti climax for me this chapter. i only voted 2 Stars.

I was hoping to see more of Sasuke. Not just two pages of him and then back to naruto handing out chakra to everyone, and more talk no jutsu. Also, i had hoped it would simply have been Hinata totally powered up by the kyuubi chakra, not the whole alliance. There was an oppertunity to see something special regarding a byakugan+kyuubi fusion.... feels like a wasted oppertunity. Especially since Naruto was posing so much with hinata in the last chapter; as if they were going to fight side by side.

On the plus side, if naruto is able to hand out chakra (like karin can: uzumaki trait) maybe his next powerup will be a SEALING JUTSU! (another uzumaki trait)...

Imagine had this move been combined with Narutos Full Kyuubi Chakra Cloak. This could have posed a threat to Obito/Madara/Juubi. There was so much potential to develop a Byakugan/Kyuubi Power Move.

Keep it together please kishi... c'mon...

Good chapter. Nine tails cloaks for all! I swear if the chakra's flaming yellow I'm calling Akira Toriyama and telling him to sue for being ripped off lol. Sasuke and the gang are at Konaho, someone predicted that, can't remember who. Tough to wait 3 weeks just for this though, we could've used a double chapter

Nothing else worth noting except for Sasuke in the beginning, and that was just a ridiculous tease. Oh, look, Hinata actually did something. I was almost certain Kishimoto would brush her aside, but I guess that spot is reserved for Sakura who wasn't even shown in the actual chapter except for an irrelevant color page.

Oh, and Naruto's bullshit. "You get chakra! And you get chakra! EVERYBODY GETS CHAKRAAAAAA!"

5/5 I thought it was great seeing that Shikamaru and Ino's dads message to their kids and another alliance jutsu. Oh, and Sasuke and Oro are in the leaf probably going to Root division, the only place that really was never shown like that so far.

Naruto jus did something no one else can do, empowering others with His power and what do some people do? They act base on a short intro as if Sasuke is the star of the Manga. What will they say and do when it's Sasuke turn to be impress and fall before Naruto? All that wailing,crying and Gnashing of teeth is going to resound all over the world.

Geez! What's with everybody and the "Kishi forgot Sakura, Kishi forgot Tenten ecc." crap! Is not like the battle end with this chapter! If they are not in this one they will be in the next one...and all the complaining about Naruto giving chakra to everybody?
They need to be stronger to defeat Madara and Obito!
And Kurama chakra definitely help. Deal with it

I mean, seriously? This is why K11 members rarely get any character development. Neji is one of the main reasons why Lee is as strong as he is today and one of the reasons for his ninja way (wants to surpass Neji with taijutsu alone) and yet he just cries for a bit then starts to get back up again. You could almost say those two mirror the Naruto/Sasuke rivalry but on a slightly smaller scale.

"Don't cry Lee" - what one earth are you talking about?? The guy should be going absolutely crazy right now. Like either saying something to Madara, getting angry, or just powering up (5th/6th gate or something). It's almost like all the part 1 friendships are just being thrown out the window these days.

Average chapter, I'd give it a 3. Nice to see Sasuke but the cliffhanger was a bit much given there's been a 3 week break. As for Naruto, i'm not sure about the chakra service station but i guess it's the only legit way of the alliance getting their plans to work. And classic emotional flashbacks from Kishi which for some reason i just can't seem to get emotional about because K11 don't really get enough screentime as it is...

The only good part about this chapter was seeing Sasuke for like 2 panels D: Lee's crying for Neji? To me it looked more like tears of joy than of grief. And what the heck is wrong with Kishi not showing any emotions on Tenten?

And Ino.... oh girl I thought you were much much smarter than that. u__u

The rest sucked.. I give this chapter a 2. Not worth the wait.

Terrible....this Naruto.handing out chakra has gone to far.
You can't change from lending chakra to disturb genjutsu or help with reanimation jutsu, straight into kyuubi chakra gas station. This manga is going downhill.
