Sigh...another issue with no real progression. It has now been 52 issues since the battle began. 52 issues since Naruto and Obito rammed their faces into each other. I understand that this manga is probably going to be wrapping up soon, and I expected an epic battle, but instead we have an epic never ending stalemate and it is getting really boring.
Fifty two issues, yes there have been other things thrown in there along the way such as Sasuke and Itachi vs. Kabuto, but really, let it sink in; 52 issues and the only things of importance to the story that have happened are:
1) Finding out the tailed beasts' backstories.
2) Naruto and Kurama becoming the ultimate team.
3) The Obito reveal.
4) Obito's backstory.
5) Ten Tails being revived.
6) Neji dying.
I'm pretty sure all of this could have been covered effectively and much more interestingly in the span of maybe 15 issues.
On another note, has anyone else noticed how much Madara really seems to be enjoying himself. He almost seems pleased that they are doing so well against him and Obito. It looks to be genuine fascination..... but Obito, THE villain of the series, is really damn whiney. What he needs to do is put on some skinny jeans and go home and cry in the corner. Instead of just shutting up and kicking some ass, or talking when he has something important to say..... he just whines about everything.
Anyhow yeah... I didn't mind the chakra handout. I thought it was a neat spin on things. Once again, what I do mind is the never ending bland stalemate... just get the eff on with it Kishi.
Oh and... Kishi, if you happen to read this, please make B interesting and non-useless again... Please.
