Kishi probably made this chapter end with neji's death probably because of two reasons. One is that he needs to rap up the war. My guess is that naruto will go all out rage mode on obito and madara but there needs to be a trigger for his anger. That is neji's death. The second possibility is probably because everyone kept on saying the chapters before were boring. SO he made it interesting, something to get everyones attention. THink so guys?

This chapter sucked, 1/5. They could have killed Neji in the first 5 pages, and the rest could have been actually epic, but nooo .

wow half expected this to happen but it did. My guess is;

a few major character dies, sasuke shows up, team up with naruto and defeated obito/madara . Naruto suffered from using a forbidden form/jutsu and have not much time to live. Naruto does a final battle with sasuke and in the end naruto went missing and sasuke went on and be the next hokage fulfilling naruto wishes. after 10 years have pass someone that look like naruto appears in konoha. i expect to see obito, rin and kakashi grave placed together.

the hawk, which we saw during the chuunin exams, represented neji's freedom from hatred of the main family, and it died in the same way neji did. So it's basically supposed to represent Neji himself.

Im actually in the middle of a theory as to how madara would let obito use rin tensei at the expense of his life.
This also confirms that nagato was just a masive pawn who was supposed to die in order to revive madara. It confirms that nagato didn't die from low reserves but rather from the use of rin tensei. Actually makes sense now that a tensei jutsu involves a sacrifice. Chiyo's Kisho Tensei. Orochimaru's edo tensei and chibaku/shinra tensei all involves human sacrifices. Either reviving the dead with your own life or shortning your life span

Nagato is an uzumaki, and it simply fit for him to be the eye holder for madara because he has a huge life force you may see it through kushina she lives when they extract the kyuubi... he really die in a low chakra reserve... non stop combat, SM naruto + elder frog + boss frog + all leaf ninja at that time, and then use more times power massive shinra and CT....now then he just use the rinne tensei... it is also pointed out by konan that if he is fresh nagato he can live

Remember when frieza killed krillin then attempted to kill picollo in dbz? And how it made him go super saiyan. There may not be a ressurection of the characters that die, this is afterall one of the last battles. Kishi may kill off a few more characters and also show slides from naruto's viewpoint seeing many ninjas from the alliance getting slaughtered. I haven't seen that look in naruto's eyes since the battle with deva-path pein right after he impailed hinata. I predict that after this war naruto will realize that if he couldn't save his friends in battle then he can't save sasuke with talk-no-jutsu(he will be way more serious in the fight against sasuke, he won't be playing around because he's seen the worst of war) . Naruto is going to be so seasoned before fighting sasuke; he has to win. I give sasuke props though because he defeated naruto twice, but this time it's not going to be that way.

I dont know what Kishi is doing, Naruto is not usually weak like this even after 2/3 rasenshurikens, he just comes back to his normal self not in a weak state. Anyway I guess Kish is making him handicapped in order to plot no jutsu people's death.
I am sure Kishi has something else planned for killing major characters by using some kind of resurrection to bring everyone back, but first he has to kill these guyz to allow Naruto go crazy into his actual powers. He is going to get a crazy combination of BM and Sage mode that will enter the Juubi's mind and over turn it on Madara and Obito before he finally seals it in himself and take full control of it using the powers the other Bijuus agreed to give Naruto because they believe he reminded them of SO6P!

I don't know why some of you folks are surprised at Obito's actions; I mean he is Tobi after all (The greatest villian this manga has ever seen, next to Madara). Act like you know.

And no Kishi, not Neji!! Oh lord, why no take another fodder 11 member instead? What's TenTen gonna do? Who's gonna even Lee & Guy out? So many fodder questions ..
