First post here so I will give it a go...

I noticed a lot of people complaining about the reason why Obito started the war (death of Rin), but I think that is only the surface of the entire event. Madara clearly knows Obito, and I suspect that he did indeed save him that day under those rocks and used the Senju cells (much like Danzo did with his arm) to save Obito. Clearly, Obito is on an entirely different skill level then when he was with Kakashi, and it is starting to become clearer that Madara took him "under his wing" so to speak. During this time period, Rin died and Obito, being extremely angry and upset, allowed himself to join Madara fully. Madara used Obito's anguish to drive him into carrying out his plan, even after he died. Madara knew he would be dead long before the start of the 4th war, so he needed someone to continue his work and to bring him back with the Edo Tensei.

It was never Obito's war, he is in it purely for revenge for Rin, and that is the sole reason for him switching sides. This is most certainly Madara's war, a war he started literally from the grave with his only pupil pulling the strings until his revival.

I am certain I have extreme holes in this guess, but I feel as if that is what the Manga is leading to... eventually. All in all, a confusing chapter, but exciting at the end.

I was thinking that but still, atm in the manga he gave his reason so I'll argue that reason x)

This whole war is over Rin in obitos eye he even said because u let her die but madarra is doing this war for his reason. U know what I thinkin now is that naruto will make obitio good guy tell him u can just have girl u need to win her somrthing like that obitio will become good and he and naruto will fight together to beat madarra and sasuke I bet u that will happen. I hope sasuke stays evil all the way doesn't turn good tired of seeing naruto making all baddies good but we orchimati too men he's evil

Tobi and Madara's moon plan... I liked it better when it was called The Matrix.

Seriously though, people die, Obito should stop being a little bitch about it. Tobi made sure many people's loved ones died in the Hidden Mist village, he killed Naruto's entire family and indirectly killed his godfather too. He helped kill Sasuke's entire family. All because one person, one friggin person, who barely noticed his existence died. His seventh grade crush more or less.... why doesn't he dye his hair, buy some skinny jeans, and go cry in the corner while cutting himself like any other emo crybaby piece of shit.

Part 1 we get an amazing villain in Orochimaru. Hell in Part 2 when we thought Pain was the mastermind, pretty badass too. I give Tobi a lot of credit for being a great schemer, intelligent as all hell, and quite the storyteller. Speaking of which, isn't uncharacteristic of Tobi not to spill the beans about his history. Everyone else he meets must be told this long winding story.... he's like the robot from Aqua Teen Hunger Force:

"Thousands of years ago before the dawn of man there lived Madara Uchiha...."

Story telling is half of what he does with his spare time, yet he's tight lipped now? Point is, I really expected him to have an intelligent, well thought out reason for this.... but nope, it's just because of Rin. As misguided as Nagato was at least you could empathize with him.

Most people say Obito is bad, but is he?
Are his plans really evil?
I think not, looking at it from his point of view:
- Seeing people break their promises (e.g. Kakashi)
- Seeing Rin die, but also the whole Love-Hate circle
Making decisions, which causes peace for Person A,
but bitterness, pain and sorrow for Person B.
Good example, village and his clan Uchiha.

That's why he decided to follow the idea of Madara, whom he surely has a connection with.
The Eye of the moon plan, which in fact is like a virtual world, where there's no place for hate pain and lies.. But is this the solution?
It's like killing humanity, the choices you can make in life, the pain, the love, the truth the lies, these are needed in a world where everythig has its opposites..
Life and death, the knowledge of it all existing, makes us human:
The experience, the feeling we get by experiencing things.

The Eye of the moon plan is in fact disturbing this all, making the shinobi's death inevitable..

So my point is, Obito's view of peace is childish, formed by his trauma's and pain..
Childish but his motive is a sort of peace, reaching a higher goal: protecting his comrads from making the most painfull decisions of their lives with regrets and burdens on their shoulders.

So is obito still evil? Seen from his pov

He's been smacking them around like small children for a while now. He probably left a clone, if not, he probably was just bored anyhow. It really hadn't been all that challenging.

That's the thing that gets me though. The man seems to love conflict, fighting, and basically owning people. Somehow this whole moon's eye plan just doesn't fit with what we know of his personality. I don't get it.

Ok chapter a bit sloppy on the flashbacks and on how madara just appear all of the sudden without at least showing the Kages... Someone of you guys said about the cracks on madara face disappeared when he unlocks edo tensei! I remember that 2 so was it a mistake on the last page perhaps?

And for Madara knowing Obito, Madara must have what age? 90?

I don´t think that the kages are down. You know, the good must triumph. Look at Kabuto and the others, they were all defeated without a single loss.

This war is so easy predictable.

This chapter knows he's tired of the kages and he wants the kyuby, and the kages can't stop him because they're out of chakra. But probably they followed Madara and they should show up in a near future next to Naruto.

Don't make just the assumption that Madara killed everyone and flew there. If so, Kishi would showed us that.

Now instead of talking about the obvious, if some one wants to talk about predictions (Naruto Manga Chapter 600 Discussion and 601 Predictions ), please read my previous post and comment, thanks :

Pretty good chapter, like most of people, didn't like the flashbacks, nothing new...

One thing I was thinking and I think it will be awesome if it happens and I would like your opinion in this matter.

We still don't know the full history of Rin, and I hope we find out soon, but I think it's possible that Madara was the one who killed her/caused her death and manipulated Obito to join forces with him.

And if this is true, it will be fun to see how would he react when he knows the truth, and here is where Orochimaru enters, maybe he has the poof that Madara killed Rin or caused her death, and he is gathering that information with Sasuke to show to Obito and it can make a huge turn on the manga's history, wich would be interesting.

Maybe Obito could turn on Madara and tries to kill him, because to me, if the 5 kages can't kill Madara, Naruto can't kill Madara and Obito, something has to change, and I think that Obito is the key, but what do you think?

I think it's an interesting theory and possible, give me your opinions on the future please.

thats very true. thats why I have a nagging feeling that obito killed madara at some point and then took up his name. it kinda explains why TobI said if itachi knew my secret I would be dead by now

remember wen all other edo was disappearing so was madara BUT.....unlike the others it was his chakra tht was restored to his body n not his spirit. the edo was released but his spirit n chakra remained with HIS body.

As itachi said, one cannot change who they are until they die. I personally believe that tobi is obito and that he was killed under the weight of the boulders in the rock slide. Like we saw with nagato, the rinnegan has the ability to bring the dead back to life. Madara uchia survived the fight with hashirama and awoke his rinnegan. I believe that madara found obito dead and brought him back to life and trained him. I don't know why madara took interest in this crushed boy but it is possible that they are related somehow or madara was able to see the potential his sharigan had. if obito underwent training from madara then it is possible that he was the man behind he mask who fought minato. it is possible that madara corrupted obito into becoming the world class criminal he is today or after he died he saw the world in a completely different manor and chose to be the way he is on his own. if this was the case it explains how tobi claims to have given the rinnegan to nagato. Madara probably revived obito in correlation with his plan to give another his rinnegan after he dies so that he would be able to be revived in the future once tobi collected the tailed beasts. In addition zetsu very easily could have been concieved by madara after he obtained hashirama senjus dna. Zestu is still a mystery to us and we do not fully understand his powers. he could have merged with tobi after the rock slide and repaired his body to usable extent. Also do not forget the people who know everything, I'm sure madara has met them if orochimaru has. nothing is impossible in the ninja world so even thought it may seem there are plot holes all will be explained within due time.

Does anybody recognized that Tobi said: Whether"I"!!!!!!!!!<-------- survived or not is not important.I dont believe it yet,that Tobi is the "real Obito"

He was referring to how rin is dead and tht him surviving isn't the point its the fact tht rin ididnt survive, tht his crush is dead!!!! But it is still a stupid reason to want to crush the world.
