i just read it again and i think Kakashi's flashbacks are showing him something and us too, maybe Obito set up that atack and him and Rin so he could save Rin he says "now its my turn to save you guys"

so im thinkin Kakashi thinks he set that up too and it backfired

Definitely bummed we had claw through played out flashbacks in chapter 600. They could of at least been something we havent seen yet, some insight to Tobito and Madaras connection or something. Not very epic for a 600th chapter IMO 2andahalfstars

I feel kinda bad for the Izuna/Obito's body not mind theorists. They got slapped in the face two weeks in a row. I glad I didn't come up with any theories and just let the manga play out, and because of that I am pretty satisfied with this chapter. Tobi's reasons for going evil seem legit to me...
Obito could have just let Kakashi get crushed while he and Rin escaped out of that cave but instead he did the noble thing and sacrificed his life to save his friend. In return he asks that friend to protect the girl he loved (had a crush on, either way he cared deeply for her and that's all that matters), however somehow he survived and found out that the girl he loved was dead (anyone consider Rin may have killed herself?). I'm imagining the same way Darth Sidious saved Darth Vader after he got burnt is similar to what Madara did to Obito.
I'm guessing it played out like this:
Madara: "Hey I just saved your life, now you have to be my apprentice and carry out my evil plans."
Obito: "No way! I have a girl waiting for me back home."
Madara: "She dead."
Obito: "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Anyway that point I am trying to make is Obito sacrificed his life (the right side of his face) and later find out it was for nothing. He obviously can't accept a reality where sacrifices are meaningless which is why he wants to change reality with his Eye of the moon plan. Villains in Naruto typically can't handle death well (just look at Nagato and Sasuke) so they resort to forming evil plans and taking over the world.

Well I think that Madara just used the death of Rin to brainwash Obito along with other stuff (you know... more stuff to brainwash him). I seriously don't think that Rin's death is the main reason. He may also have said that too stun Kakashi.

I just can't take that seriously. He probably loved her very, very much, but... Obito seems to lack common sense. His love died, so now the whole world must suffer?
Far-out. He must've gone honestly crazy when that happened. It just really rubs me the wrong way.

And then Madara just swoops in like some super villain! What the **** happened to the Kage fight? Is that being abandoned, just so Naruto can get some more attention and action scenes?! 'Cause no other characters need that, right!

And 1/3 of the chapter consists of unnecessary flashbacks. Yay.

Okay, something positive... it's interesting to see how this is affecting Kakashi. He's obviously hurt and confused, probably just short of a mental breakdown, but Gai's right. They gotta fight, despite their emotions. We'll just have to see if he can handle it.

With that said, I can't take this chapter seriously. You guys might see it differently and enjoy it, but my "bullshit alarm" is going off like mad. I was really looking forward to seeing the conclusion to the Kage fight, but...

I hope we'll see the rookie nins sometime soon though - it would be appropriate. Then someone at least semi-important can finally die. Maybe one or more of the kages already did? Only thing that would excuse deserting it, to me... even though possibly not seeing how they went out is ridiculous.

of course kishi wont show us the kage-battle... its the THRILL!
its more exciting, if we dont know, how it went, so i think, its okay

Obito posing as Mr. Tobi used Kamui,teleported the f**k into Konoha, slayed Biwako (and some other fenom), snatched baby Naruto, slapped some explosive tags on that beach, threw him up in the air and tried to stab him, kidnapped his moms, ripped K-Dog the f**k out, commanded K-Dog to deal with that beach Kushina (like a G), failed, then teleported his ass to Konoha for utter mutha-truckin devistation.

Itachi's didn't disappear. He freed himself from Kabuto's hold like Itachi did, since he himself is stronger than the technique.
I know that Kabuto dispelled the technique, but we all saw that before disappearing he freed himself from the contract, which is what was making him disappear.

Yeah call me stupid or whatever for never believing that Obito was Tobi up until this point, but I just wanted it to be someone that would make it more interesting. I never came up with any theories, I just wanted it to be someone who would be a good twist to the story.
& don't get me wrong I like Obito, especially for his whole " I never leave my friends behind speech", I guess I just didn't want to see him go bad. :/
