Yes, it was a great chapter, all seven pages:sy: half of the chapter was kakashi gaiden AGAIN wtf obito. I was just thinking yesterday how dumb it would be if Rin dying was his motive for wanting to enslave humanity, thats total b/s!! obito talked to Rin like twice in the flashback & didnt give her the flowers.
Sooo basically obito is a stalker that thinks he loves someone from his childhood that he never really got to talk to. Go ask Sasuke if he cares if Sakura or Naruto dies, Sasuke would say somethin cold like "I was going to destroy them anyway", grow some nuts Obito. Although Madara showing up like he did could mean Madara did what orochimaru did to Sasuke, he probably promised obito power to protect his friends but ultimately just warped his mind.

that's not confirmed yet though, that obito was behind the nine tails attack.
In fact, at some point the kuybe mentions it himself that he was indeed under the control of madara. Even when sasuke saw inside naruto, the kyubi was like "these eyes, even more sinister that uchiha madara's" so there's definitely more behind the attack than just obito's identity. After all, I really find it impossible that at that time obito could go toe to toe against minato. I mean, now he's fighting naruto in a way more powerful state that he fought mina to and still he is not compared to the minato level.

that would be freaking epic though, we have not seen the last of Gai yet. AS for kakashi I can't see how he can be useful anymore in attacking the enemy, he's practically out of chakra. I believe that the best that he could do is to come up with a theory against the enemy...

And people were still bitching about him being an emotional c**t. Ok, I'll make the biggest villain of the series be a minor uchiha from a flashback arc. Seriously, Obito's been having an immature temper tantrum for 17 years. That's the culmination of this great story line? As ridiculous as Sasuke can be, at least he just wanted to kill Danzo, the elders and destroy the village, and he lost his whole family. Obito has a crush when he's a kid, gets crushed, and suddenly wants to control the world via genjutsu matrix. What a moron, he may or may not be alive, but I think the rocks on his face gave him some serious brain damage nonetheless. What a big f'ing baby.... he probably wore a mask so no one could see him crying constantly.

For me , knowing Obito's alive throughout the years made me sad because he lived everyday bearing the fact that his true love died , since from the day he knew it which is I don't know when .

To those who whine about " It's because ... you let Rin die " the reason of Obito waging a war . uuuuhm , did he even OFFICIALLY told Kakashi , Gai and Naruto that it's the reason why he is waging this war ? was it mentioned on today's chapter ?
Obito only said " Whether I survived or not is not important . However .. yeah .. If you really want to know why ... It's because ... you let Rin die . " He only said that , he never mentioned that it is the reason why he waged war against the Ninja World . He only said that he survived because of that reason . can't you even do a little analysis ?

To me , it's a 5/5 even though there are flashbacks that we had seen several times and we're sick of it to watch it again .

This chapter was a waste. What the hell kind of reason is that, for Obito to turn to a villain just because of a girl? This is some next level bullcrap! I mean he literally planned ALL THAT, for YEARS AND YEARS, CONTROLLED the kyuubi n sht JUST because Rin died?! Unbelievable

actually he planned that because he didnt plan it. it is madara's idea to put the world in genjutsu. obito being his apprentice followed madara's will. as for why he hates the world, its probably because konoha ordered rins death, or because madara told him the true history of his clan/world. how else would he know about the events leading up to his assault on konoha unless madara TOLD him?

he is purely evil. but the beginning of that evil is the love of his life dying and his best friend allowing it to happen. the rest is madara's corrupting/obito experiencing the hell of war. remember he wants to end war with his moons eye plan so just rin dying on some mission when the war ended doesnt justify him wanting to end all war and it isnt a reason for him to despise uchihas so much that he'd help danzo kill them

We've already had this discussion on NB, Tobi/Obito didnt kill Minato, he may of had the intent to do so but the fact is if Obito would've kept fighting minato he would be dead now, why do you think obito ran? The fact is Minato personally gave his own life just so Kushina could see Naruto in the future. Obito had no hand in that decision b/c if Kushina wouldve died immediately after the kyuubi was taken from her Minato wouldve just done a regular seal & he would most likely still be in the series. You can say Obito killed Kushina though:shrug:

What I still don't get is why someone like Madara who seems to revel and enjoy conflict/battle would come up with the infinite tsukuyomi plan to begin with. It seems to be contrary to everything we've been led to believe about the guy.
