Nice chapter Kakashi and Gai were awesome. Naruto's mini tailed beast bomb was cool. Can't wait to see the full sized version. But why was Bee hanging back? Anyway this is just part one of this fight. Expecting more epic fighting from them all.

Tobi's mask has one crack in it! Argh, this means will have to wait a month to find out his identity!

On the very bottom of the page right most image, you can see Gai's nunchuck make contact with Tobi's mask in the area it ended up cracking. You go Mighto Gai!

I gave it a 1 for the colour and because we now know Kakashi can spam Kamui. It was horrid. Nothing to progress the plot, nothing interesting happened. It was just them attempting to hit Tobi while he just warps. Barf chapter.

good chapter in my oppinion even though I am always a bit confused after action chapters because I realize when what happened. Cant wait for this chapter to be animated it´s gonna be epic.


And for the mask situation: I agree with the person that said that his mask will come off when the konoha 11, Sasuke and the gang, the hokages and madara join "Mr. Nobody and his pet" vs "Team Bijuu 8+9 Springtime of sharingan-youth"

Naruto himself bores me to death, but Kakashi and Guy saved the chapter. Tobi is whatever.

4 stars. Too much action for me, so it's barely the 4. Just Tobi dodging stuff.

Then why read the manga, its 90% about Naruto. Or did you just say that to LOOK cool?

This shows the great work Kishi is doing. If everyone agrees it was bad, then it is really bad.
If everyone agrees it's good, then something fishy is going on 'cause it's impossible to please everyone.

Ah... i missed the "plot no jutsu" reference... Or maybe, this time he really has to push himself beyond the unthinkable?!

(last friday i went for a little run. I haven't done exercice in the last 3y and i was able to run non stop for an hour. after 15m my left knee was killing me but i kept going beyond what i thought it was possible... If i can do such a thing why can't a manga char do something like that?)

lol this was one boring ass chapter .... 1... the action was lame no important jutsu just punch ...punch ... a bit of crack and they all failed

If there's jutsus all over the place... bah, no taijutsu.

I have to be honest, naruto has become boring. There is no hope on this manga anymore. Im not going to read naruto again.....

When will you guys leanr to comment something on the fly with the thought that it's an unfinished work and you can't just jump to conclusions?

When it's over you can say it was terrible because you have everything you must have to make a good assessment.
Or else there will always be that band wagon trend around here.
One week a char or Kishi is the best. Next week he is trolling. The week after is awesome again. The one after is ok!!

Gosh, what an epic chapter. That's what I waited for all the time. Tobi fighting and demonstrating his frightening powers without any Bijuu, without Gedo Mazo, without excuses. I'm just in awe. Thank God it had 19 pages. Not to mention those awesome color-pages. Things I noticed:

- For Gai to draw out his special nunchucks was a great move by Kishi, and cool as well. I remember his fight against the Kisame clone, where he drew out his nunchucks and his team was like 'Wow, Gai-Sensei is drawing out his nunchucks, he's about to get serious now'. Whereas I thought that was just for show, this chapter proved that they weren't just some one-shot made for the mere reason of making him look badass, but that they're indeed a part of Gai's fighting-style and that he's indeed extraordinary skilled with them. Well done.

- Kakashi's Kamui really surprised me. For it to be taking the size of Gedo Mazo's head is really impressive. However, I wonder how he's still standing. He was fighting in the war for two days, used various Raikiri variations against the Bijuu/Gedo Mazo, and now two Kamui, one with such an imane size. He cannot possibly have improved that much, can he? Either his Chakra was somehow restored before he headed to Tobi, or he ate one of those pills from part one, that were said to enable a Shinobi to fight for three days and nights. Do you guys remember them? Does Masashi actually remember them? :b

- I just love everything about Tobi. His actions, his fights, his thoughts.. everything has such a mysterious touch that's ever since responsible for him being my favourite character. Now again, the tiny crack in his mask and the words 'A tiny crack in his overwhelming power'.. <3 But the main question is, how did it crack? It must've something to do with the Kamui Kakashi used to warp away the Kunai. It was warping a part of Naruto's Chakra arm, and I think the crack appeared at the exact spot where that warped part touched (or not touched) the mask. Seems logical, the only way to avoid such a high level Jikukan Ninjutsu is another high level Jikukan Ninjutsu. I already see Kakashi's death coming, in exchange for killing or at least severely injuring Tobi.

- Also.. why are there constantly rocks flying around? I just don't get it. Probably because of Gedo Mazo.
