WTH did Kakashi realize when the Kumai failed on the Gedo....and did they EVER explain how he awakened his Mangekyuo yet? I still haven't figured that one out yet

Kakashi had to have known that was going to fail from the start, but was successful in getting it transported by tobi which took plenty of chakra--so a very successful attack by the only one with a brain(naruto, bee, guy arent smart). He awakened his mangeyyko through innate talent as well as endless study and work. Pretty much his thing...I think that explains it sufficiently well to me.

Seriously , minato figured out how to & beat tobi in less than 5 minutes.... and these guys are having such a bad time in spite of 9 tails power , gates power , hachibi power , mangekeo sharingan power..... sigh....

i have to say.... minato was a true genius which appears once in a generation and there is no replacement for Brains.... all power of these ninjas is waste without a genius brain..... ( cheers for the uchiha genius itachi too.. )

after all he held his own "SOLO" against A-B duo , Tobi , Kyuubi , and countless other ninja.....

This is what I'm talking about. So many battles have been won by intelligence trumping power. I hope this continues...sorry naruto, bee and guy

The action was good and will translate well to anime. However, it's hard to give this a good score because there has been such a shortage of answers recently. Not asking for much, just something. Did anyone really learn anything from this release?

This is what you all have been saying you learned:

1) Tobi is strong but not invincible....oh wow. I had no idea.(sarcasm)

2)Kakashi can't destroy a statue with the power of 7 tailed beasts in it with Tobi protecting it....again not exactly a question in my mind.

3) the 4th was very powerful and naruto hasn't surpassed him in every way -- most notably in speed...shocking revelation(back to sarcasm)

4)Tobi showed us his amazing power...I don't even know why anyone would say this. Tobi is still just doing his materialization thing. Considering his seemingly deep knowledge of crazy little known stuff....have to expect he has at least one jutsu besides that and the fan which isn't even as cool as the silver and gold brothers tools.

5) insight on who Tobi is....another thing we were not given. Nothing in this gives any credence to it being obito.


I'm not saying this was terrible...just boring and unsatisfying. All in color would have helped--we basically just got a color ad-- but throw us a bone of plot development or new insight. Please feel free to refute everything I have said. 2/5 plus a bonus pt for having great potential when animated=3/5

I loved the chapter, the action was extremely awesome.

I think it's funny that Tobi hasn't even used any rinnegan abilities during the fight. As Champ has been saying, a shinra tensei would ruin Naruto, Kakashi, Gai, and Bee.

Also, I hate that he's hinting Tobi may be Obito. Honestly, that would be so frustrating.

Finally, after seeing this thread, and how many people are praising Minato for being able to take this guy on even when Naruto, Kakashi, Gai, and Bee are failing to touch him, remember the one other Ninja who's ever given Tobi a run for his money...Konan.

Seriously, Konan is one of the most underrated characters in this manga, made official now. She managed to break Tobi's mask, and and almost blew him up entirely. Nobody besides Minato has gotten that close to defeating him. So, in honor of the ninja nobody thinks about, congratulations Konan for being a badass, even though hardly anyone acknowledges you for it.

Tobi implanted Obito's eye...that's how he can negate Kakashi's moves....it all makes sense now. Tobi isn't Obito...but that right eye is Obito's, I'm almost sure of it

But Obito's right was crushed, hence why Kakashi didn't get both eyes. The whole Tobi is Obito thing has been going on ever since Kakashi Gaiden.

i like naruto's mini bijuu rasengan. more than likely iff he connects it, it will be crazy, also i wonder if naruto can even transform that into a mini bijuu rasenshuriken, now THAT wouldnt be something exciting. i have to admit, tobi is the real deal, he is FINALLY showing he has some kinda skill. but my boi Gai got them chucks out so its gameover now. Chap...5/5 just because of the fighting and no speeches. gotta love it. i think next chap, naruto will try to fake out tobi and hit the Gedo Mazou with the mini bijuu rasengan. But we all know how plot no jutsu works xD

If one were to not read this chapter and read next weeks chapter they would have not missed a thing. All that that happened was Tobi dodging some stuff (like he always does). The action was way to hard to follow. 2/5

There is a huge flaw in your statement young sir, going through life people have opinions that are different than your own, and you can't ridicule them for it because It is just that, AN OPINION. So if somebody thinks it sucks, deal with it and keep quiet. I know this is asking a lot because pretty much all of you are children here with nothing better to do and you don't listen,but take it from me learn to accept opinions or you will fail. As for the chapter I hated it, I read manga for the cool story lines, and naruto is currently at a standstill. No plot progression but once every month it seems, getting a bit annoying.

What i was trying to say was: don't **** ride every single line/panel you read.

Ppl here see one mistake: oh, Kishi is trolling.
They want to see something yet kishi gives us something else: oh, Kishi is trolling. This is going to slow. This is getting boring. This that...

They don't even try to see the big picture. Just the panel in front!
They don't allow the mangaka to tell the story, most won't pay a cent to buy a single page of a single volume and yet they rage over something that doesn't go as they want it to be...
But hey, whatever...

•Where the hell is Bee at and why is he in beast mode?
•I like Naruto using mini TBB I wanna see it connect.
•Why doesn't Naruto use his mini beast mode? The speed it grants him could be the edge they need.
•This chapter shows how bad ass Minato truly is. He defeat Tobi single handed with out any special power ups. Just the FTG and a rasengan.

Actually the thing about the eye being crushed is true however remeber Kakashis eye was sliced thats why Obito gave him his one good eye

I agree. I wasnt entertained. This seemed like it should have been the first part of 40 pages for this week with the last 19 pages moving the story along in some way.

i gave it a 2 ,no real progression of the story, tobi need to do something else than just dodge , he needs to surprise me with some jutsu
