My question is, why would Itachi get in touch with Tobi before the Uchiha massacre? Did Itachi singlehandedly executed all the members of his clan? Or was Tobi also on an Uchiha killing spree that night?

During their conversation, Itachi said that he will help Tobi get his revenge on the Uchiha. The only scene which showed him killing Uchihas was that of his parents.

I have a hunch that Tobi's hands were not without shed Uchiha blood that tragic evening.

I actually was an Itachi fan when he was first introduced, however after his truth was revealed I began to dislike him. It's obvious that he is a medium for Kishi's moral beliefs. It's sickining.

To be frank this chapter was a disappointment especially after two weeks. we saw a little bit of Naruto and it looks like Madara will be released, that was the highlight of the chapter for me.

We already know how the Uchiha massacre went down. It was exactly the same as what we know. There wasn't even new information just a little bit more detail.

Itachi is simply amazing.....almost had me in tears when he had a tear killing his parents then his parents saying they were proud of him then him telling sasuke that he did not have to forgive him but what ever happens because of his stuff ups he will love him no matter what. Best older brother and SHINOBI ever!

Is Kagami legit madaras son? I've never heard of this :s I guess it would make sense for it to be him too since he could still be alive without the aid of jutsu and there has been a lot of focus on his generation throughout the build up to the war.

I really liked this chapter. It was a good conclusion to somewhat drawn out Itachi-Sasuke-Kabuto fight - granted we knew the majority of that info, it was still good to see it all consolidated and confirmed by Itachi himself. But it looks like we can now resume Naruto-Tobi fight. However, I still think Madara might take out Onoki before completely being released (someone important has got to die!).

Edit: And it was a very interesting twist there when Itachi suggested that Sasuke could have changed the Uchiha clan. I don't know 100% how this will (or even if it will) affect Sasuke, but I really can't see him NOT opposing Konoha and Naruto - he has been the rival protagonist for too long not to have this epic encounter at the end. We shall see.
