I thought this chapter was well done. I liked the ending of Itachi and Sasuke's conversation. Oh man, I wonder if Madara will get to release his technique before Itachi stops the reanimation jutsu.

Can't wait for next week... I want this week to be over fast because I have to take the SAT on saturday haha

OT: Way I see it, Kishi keeps setting up the Kages to be trapped in a corner where the edo-tensei will have to be undone for Madara to lose. I figured it was when he made all the clones, but apparently Kishi decided to give the Kages some credit. At this point, I highly doubt he'll be defeated before the jutsu's cancelled. And I guess another thing we found out today is that Susano'o's not strictly an MS technique. And like everything else just about, it seems the Rinnegan only made the technique even more powerful.

Quick prediction of my own, to those who say that one of the Kage should die and it'll likely be Onoki, I have hardly any doubt of it at this point. Madara just hinted that he's probably his main target now and he's basically the one keeping their spirits up. I've seen plenty of foreshadowing of Onoki's death up to this point, and this pretty much tilted the scales all the way.

- Madara finally getting serious and bring out his prefect Susanoo.

- Itachi really sounds like he's not gonna reveal his side of the story to Sasuke.
- No deaths among the Kages despite the odds.
- Another speech to boost morals.

Well, look how big that cube Oonoki made was compared to the Kage. Now look how big that Susano'o is compared to the cube. His KNEE is in the nosebleed section. I think its safe to say that if Itachi doesn't come to the rescue, then only the author can save them now. If the 1st could beat Madara, whether or not he could indeed use this giant susanoo, then i have no choice but to facepalm in shame of the utter trolling that took place when the 3rd sealed Hashi in the 1st series. :sy:

Ok guys un fukin believeable .... i never everrrrrrr complained about the ultimate cheese uchiha , good for nothing powerups , every time they blink..i didnt complain when they got the first 2 techniques . ameretsu and tsukiyomi or however they r spelled .then out of nowhere susassno is this ultimate un-dodge-able, freakin , unbreakable move., then itachi's had the ultimate non jutsu seal and his other hand some ultimate blocker of any spell ... then sasuke arrows r freakin undodge able . thennn he gets a transplant and they become super increase cast away eyes that never seal....... thennnnnnn we have this izanami they can use , and who knows i bet they can use Izanagi if they hook up with a senju and then itachi can send things away ,,,,,, and tobi can port away and madara is double headed sided andd now its the ultimate susanoo so hopefully b4 he disappears he can use some ultimate ability with it and if he had the ultimate itachis stuff , anyway that all said and done

ANYWAY! Onto more pressing matters. Just got caught up on Naruto again. Freakin' amazing. Been waiting for this to happen. But I also expected this to be over by now xD. Then again, this is Naruto is it not? I'm thinking that Kabuto will break out of the genjutsu soon. On top of that i think that at least two if not three Kage will die. Old man Oonoki is my first bet. Then the Tsuchikage. And possibly the Raikage. Gaara won't die. He's already died once. Would completely break my heart if that happened.

Anyone's thoughts?

Great chapter. Really enjoyed it and I can't wait for next week. This war has had pretty cool fights but I'm kind looking forward to the aftermath, I'm interested in what's gonna happen to the Shinobi world.

great episode this time, i wonder when sharingan will stop getting more credit, i am jealous(kidding). and the whole ultimate jutsu is to not just degrade Madara as a legend. I was thinking that letting one of the Kage die will make the village look weak, but after reading most posts, i came to presume that Oonoiki most likely might be the one with the other kages badly injured.

Wait Tsunade does not need to die yet naruto will become the Hokage while Tsunade is still in Charge just like the 3rd Hokage and the 4th Hokage except one thing. Naruto needs some training to learn How to be Hokage and he is going to need such assistance from Tsunade to learn leadership stuff like bureaucracy . He can't just become Hokage. He is an idiot after all

5/5 imo. The only real flaw is that it pretty much disregarded the showing of Kabuto's orphan "brother" at the end of last week. Didn't seem to have had much purpose.

I wouldn't lose hope; I think we'll see more of that. Kabuto's not dead (yet, anyway). We'll probably go back to Kabuto after the Kage are just about to be slaughtered right before ET is stopped by Itachi. Assuming that removes Itachi from the scene, I'm curious what will be the interaction between Sasuke and Kabuto. Somehow, Kabuto will live, I think.

Good observation. The possibility that any of the Kage might die actually slipped my mind, recently. It didn't seem like it would happen, but you have a good point. As a character, Onoki's gone through a huge transformation, and he's showing his true colors now. It's really fitting for him to go out on such a high note. Plus, he's older than dirt.


Overall, a pretty cool chapter. I especially appreciated Sasuke's comment, "You're the one who made me this way," only because it came across as very childish (blame someone else for your actions), and that fits Sasuke's character, imo. Sorry if I've offended anyone.

Isn't perfect Susanoo more or less the completed form of Susanoo from the skeleton to the flesh to the cloak/clothing over Susanoo, just as Itachi showed vs Sauske and Sauske showed w/ EMS vs Zetsu ??? I didn't really think Madara's perfect Susanoo was a new trick or anything, I felt it was expected...?

About the susano'o thing. IMO i think just like the fact that uchihas with susano'o can use parts of it like the hand, the rib cage and stuff, they can also add things hence the legs. As for the mokuton clones, they must have been there because the one who used genjutsu on A was a clone obviously. And perfect susano'o, as big as it is, must have legs for it to be so freakin' huge

Pretty much, it looks that way. The armor is nearly identical to Sasuke's Susanoo, and it even has the same forehead jewel. The only real difference (besides the weapons) is that Madara's has some sort of veil while Sasuke's has the beak/mask. Also, it appears to be bigger than your typical Susanoo, so I guess that counts for something. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
