eneryone is saying that izanami is complete because of that missing eye??
this missing eye is quite interesting.

i think that everytime itachi has gooten murked by kabuto in the last couple of chapters only twice in chapter 582 and 585

and both times one eye is missing ...so what im tryna get across and please feel free to discuss and help me becuz i have no clue ...is that when he takes a fatal blow his eye is gone lmao i don't know it's weird

What do you guys think about the whole part when they're all talking about the uchiha name? Itachi says Kabuto has no meaning in taking that name but auto says their IS a meaning with a mini flashback panel. Does Kabuto have some connection to the Uchiha clan or what?

He meant the value of them is in their name or bloodline and not them in themselves.

In other words, the Uchiha Clan is the source of their power and was prosperous before they came along. So no, he doesn't have any known connections to the Uchiha Clan based on what we've seen from the manga.

VERY good chapter... Sasuke hasn't mastered Tsukiyomi, but he and Itachi are really making this an interesting fight. I just wish there was a little more taijutsu...

Itachi definitely activated Izanami since one of his eyes are missing in the last panel. Izanami might be Kabuto living out his life in an alternate reality without noticing while his body is unconscious in the "real" reality... or something like that. Leaving Itachi to just get the answers out of his real body with Tsukiyomi... like he said he would lol. This chapter was great!

Maybe Izamani is a genjutsu that makes Kabuto believe he won the war and Kabut deactivates IWR.

I don't like that Kabuto lived after two Tsukuyomi. Especially since Itachi's alone put Kakashi in a coma. It seems like a plothole. Other than that it was awesome.

Exactly. The same thing also occurred with Edo Madara (except it appeared in both eyes). See here:

So what was shown in the panel where one of Itachi's eyes are seemingly missing does not mean Izanami was activated. It could either mean it was in fact activated, or it was actually effectively negated.

If you look closely at the picture of Itachi you can see his eye. It is just very faint. In 585 The eye is gone.

i think kabuto is probably under itachi's tsukoyomi

nice bro i was gonna check out the madara fight as well to see if that happen too, hmmmm i personally think it hasn't been activated yet , that was just a cliff hanger to make ppl think he activated it. kishi is such a troll lmao

It could just be a coincidence. Just by the fact alone that one of his eyes disappeared doesn't mean Izanami was successfully activated as shown above. But either way, I don't see it. This was the last panel shown of both of Itachi's eyes:

Yeah I'm sure Itachi already activated Izanami...I mean he said it was ready like 2 chapters ago -_-...so Kabuto slicing him has no effect...also he landed right infront of Sasuke who has a Susanoo. Copying peoples abilities is cool and all...but Kabuto is just a douche and doesn't do it justice.

Izanagi takes one eye, to be explicit the eye closes and never opens again (I assume it is also blind behind the eyelid). It's just black.

Let's not forget that Kabuto experimented with the DNA of all of his past subordinates. There is a very high chance that he already has the blood of an Uchiha which came from Sasuke. He may counter Izanami and whatever it does.

I checked both Madara's/Itachi's pages previous chapters ago when they got caught by others, they both have their eyes slowly fainted like someone is dying.. if you look into the last chapter, Itachi's eyes are way different than that, his left eye shines unaffected at all, while his right eye is COMPLETELY fainted, not even the cornea appears in it.

To support this:

1. We haven't seen the actual conditions, circumstances, or requirements of Izanami yet. This means that we don't even know that it has the cost of eyesight.

2. Assuming it's the same as Izanagi's, from the two occasions we have seen Izanagi used on the end effect looked like this:

In both of which the eyes appear to be gradually closing rather than disappearing altogether like it was shown in the panel of Itachi's seemingly absent eye.

Yea, I think since it's a touch and go situation and he just used the one he's more proficient in, which isn't Tsukuyomi - remember Killer Bee and Danzo? Although there were underlying circumstances which could satisfactorily explain why those two attempts failed more or less in the way that they did the smartest response was to use regular sharingan genjutsu since it will work anyway.
