ITS A FLASHBACK, it's not like Kabuto is preaching his lifestory, we're just being shown what happened, it isn't happening in real time

Guys. For one, understand, with maturity, that flashbacks are essential for the plot to move. If we do not understand Kabuto, nothing would make much sense. It is important to know the background of characters, especially someone as prominent as Kabuto. Look at it this way:

We don't know Naruto's background. We don't know MInato's background. We don't know Kushina's background. We do not know Itachi and Sasuke's background.

Hmm. The story would be about some guy Naruto who mysteriously somehow HAD the nine-tails fox inside of him, and Minato and Kushina just somehow met, and somehow the nine-tails ended up inside their son. Itachi, how can Sasuke treat him as a good guy? He murdered his clan, what the? Sasuke, da faq, mental problem here :|

Yeah, this would be what we're thinking. THat is why, please, acknowledge the fact that this chapter's flashbacks were important. It was a good one. Only if you are mature would you understand, therefore, most of NB, ignorant fools, would not U_U

i like the fact that we finally get some background-information about kabuto, which is something that i have been waiting for a long time, it's a common way to give a character depth, which is needed and useful for kabuto, since he himself in difference to oro is kinda pale.

but i dont like kishi's timing, it's very anti-climatic, because first they are in the midst of a fight (in the midst of three to be exact), so a flashback slows the speed down and second flashbacks in fights usually signalize that the person with the flashback will either receive a boost of strength (main-characters) or die, in order to give the fight some emotional importance in the last minute.
which makes things more predictable and therefore less interesting. even if sasuke was not one of the two main-chars and itachi wasnt kishi's favorite character.

That's probably how Kishi is gonna make it go down. Every single thing that we see between now and their fight that the two of them could learn for themselves, they're probably gonna pick up on. Sasuke will end up using Izanagi and Izanami, while Naruto will end up finding an ultimate technique of his own that relates to the Sage's 'body', to go along with the full Tailed Beast Mode.

flashback no jutsu strikes again 2/5. i know its needed and all but at least have it like half flashback half fighting, story progression has already been painfully slow enough as it is

Why is it that every time someone fights an Uchiha we have to see a story on both sides? Every single time. I mean, really. Where are the characters such as those from the chuunin exams, characters that just die? I don't care, and judging by the votes, which are as low as they can get for this, latest chapter, it's clear that no one else does...

It all feels like a huuuge filler, but I thought those only exist in the anime... I guess I was wrong. I also sense this is going to result in one of those double episodes, so we'll be waiting 2 weeks to see it. It's going to be like Kakashi Gaiden, only without a good reason to care to spend time watching it...

I have nothing against Kabuto (or flashbacks for that matter, though the timing could've been better), but I didn't really like how the story went. It was basically a reiteration of young Gaara's story: he doesn't know who he is, doesn't have love, then finds someone who does care for him, only to fight with them and kill them to find out who they really are... come on, kishi. I hope next chapter (Kabuto getting pimped) is at least more original and so interesting. Kabuto's imminent death better be at least a little interesting as well. 2.5/5 this week...

Ah... Oh, what to say, what to say. This is all part of Kabuto's character development, people. That's what I said last week; I was a strong defender of Chapter 582. But even I have to admit that seeing an entire seventeen pages of flashback this chapter was... discouraging. I'm not gonna say the chapter was boring, because I don't exactly think it was, and I liked it better than 582. Still, I'm not going to give my opinion this week, but I can give an obvious prediction:

More flashbacks. Next week. Brace yourselves.

Better vision of Kabuto, but it was insufficient.

Pretty impressive that a kid his age was that good of a spy, infiltrator and medic. If it was two hundred issues or so back, I'd be okay with it. Now? No. Bad timing.

My sentiments exactly! And to be honest I think these sob stories for the villains are kinda gettin old. Im not trying to dis Kishimoto because he is great but i would love to see a villain who didnt have a sob story, someone who was just evil to the core because he was born that way

I don't mind if there is taking but only if it's well-written and necessary. Like when Sasuke met up with Edo Itachi, the talk was good, necessary, and didn't take too long.

3/5 This chapter was pretty good, but I would have preferred to have seen more action in the fight between Itachi & Sasauke vs Kabuto before learning about Kabuto's past.
