If I see corectly, Kabuto had his eyes closed, so nope, most probably it was a clone.

It was good chapter. I liked cooperation between bothers, Kabutos technique was also cool.

i thought on that too i think he is in genjutsu now

yh i agree might have placed a genjutsu on from the start or possibly pointed at him who knows, but we do not looking into his eyes is not the only way he can place you under genjutsu

It seems like Kishi is trying to show us that Itachi is still above Sasuke even with all his power ups. The chapter was alright, it's a nice change from all the power housing with the Naruto and Madara fights.

This Itachi is a Edo meaning he won't go blind because of overuse and has much much more chakra then normal, we haven't even seen Sasuke go all out and here people are saying that he's useless, all he has done is Susano'o perhaps when he shows his new ability alot of people will change their mind, Itachi is just smarter then Saskaykun.

Not bad, but not really good either.
It's clear that both sides have yet to show their true powers, but I guess Kabuto has a bit of a disadvantage. Though I wonder how the bros want to finish him... It's not like you can stab a fluid.

Sasuke fans must be very disappointed with this chapter. Again their cool Sasuke would have been raped by Kabuto if Itachi wouldn't been there.

I honestly really liked this chapter.

It's great to see them work together, and to see a little bit more of the memories they shared. They're both quite clever, especially Itachi, and Sasuke is less of a whiny dumbass in this chapter.

Kabuto is seriously nasty. That huge jaw... ugh. Shivers down my ****ing spine.

And the translation is awful in this chapter. What the hell did Itachi even say in the bottom right image on page 7? I got something about catching Sasuke and that's about it. Kirin Rey to the rescue? Pretty please?

Nonetheless a good chapter. I was setting myself up for disappointment, but I suppose there was no need to be pessimistic.
