For those of you who don't seem to understand where the Japanese people are inspired in their manga, Son Goku (Goku would be his first name, Son his family name) is a direct reference to one of the main characters in a 16th century Chinese novel called 'Journey to the West.'

Kishi isn't a dragonball Z fan, but rather a fan of ancient Chinese literature, inspired by it, just like Akira Toriyama, who created DBZ. It's no different than being inspired by Shakespear.

Stop with the whole 'Kishi is ripping IP from other manga' BS. You kids sound ridiculously stupid.

Haha I don't think that he's ripping dragon ball at all, I mean mangas all usually have pretty similar names, just hearing son goku again after I don't know how many years it's been since I watched and read dragon ball, but it was a little flashback of the past

Yeah I noticed that as well. I think they should have used Yoko, as that literally means "Demon Fox" in japanese. lol It would have looked less copy-ish since that wasn't the original name, but the transformation.

I rate the chapter a 2/10.

Why?
Son Goku? Really. So lame.
Besides Kyuubi's name being revealed, everything else could've been a whole lot better.

And how about Shodai's fawked up face? That was awesome.
So here is how it gets a 2 out of 10.

1 Point from Shodai having his face fawked up.

I really dont think they get it.....Maybe their brains are hard wired to DBZ , that could be another reason their having a hard time dealing with kishi taking his time building up a descent storyline with talk no jutsu. All action and not knowing whats going on, or why it is going on. This manga wouldn't be worth reading!!

I agree vlive6 but its cool to know some of the tailed beasts names i think we are seening how naruto take back the tailed beasts if he can go in side of them and take off the cains its going to put cranp in tobis plans for sure one step closer to victory

What you guys need to understand is that idea's for such Manga Series are never original.

The only originality is within the storyline and how the plot is set out, not the Idea.

Atlast it came. I swear the 9 tails/Kurama is becoming less and less intimidating by the minute, even Naruto is laughing at his name. Im wondering though, why would the Sage give names to the tailed beasts if they were enemies? And the sage split the beasts up on his deathbed with the last of his power, so how would he have the time... I don't think Tobi told us the full truth about SO6P.

I don't think the tailed beast we're enemies. The 10 tails was, but 1-9 I think we''re created for a special reason. What I'm starting to speculate is the sage of six paths created them for a reason and named for a reason. I'm speculating its to regulate the ninja world. because If I'm correct they say the tailed beast only show up where their is amass concentration of hate. but I'm just throwing out an Idea.
