Good chapter just getting closer & closer to when Naruto & the Kyuubi fight together. Guy & Kakashi tagging up is awesome. & cool to see the Tailed Beast's have actual names.

Because the Sage wanted to achieve complete, total peace, just like Naruto. The ten-tails was something like the manifestation of hatred and destruction. So somebody who can convince the most evil and hate-filled beings that love is what truly matters, that somebody is also able to change the whole world. Another reason why he did it was to give them real names and real identities. What means "Kyuubi"? What kind of "name" is that supposed to be? Nine-Tails? That is actually a pretty disrespectful and devaluing name. So giving them real names is a sign of respect and acknowledgment.

Seriously people, Son Goku is the monkey king from the journey west. In fact Akira took his original concept for dragonball from the journey west. The monkey king with a magic staff, accompanied by a bandit, a sage, and a shape shifting pig. Along the way they fight a three eyed god.

Besides that, still curious why Tobi has Kurenai's chakra chains. Also, hopefully, this quells the question about a monkey sage, there it is, right there.

Atlast it came. I swear the 9 tails/Kurama is becoming less and less intimidating by the minute, even Naruto is laughing at his name. Im wondering though, why would the Sage give names to the tailed beasts if they were enemies? And the sage split the beasts up on his deathbed with the last of his power, so how would he have the time... I don't think Tobi told us the full truth about SO6P.

Well that was interesting. It seems the tailed beasts may be and have been their own individual creatures. The stories of the SO6P seems to have suffered the same thing that all stories and messages passed on by word of mouth have, change. It will be interesting to see what happens when the 4 tails, Son Goku, is released.

Really i guess naruto is getting in touched with the feelings of the tail beast to finally understand how the 9fox feel about shinobi like he felt when he was a child.

note i guess the mask guy is related it to the uzumaki clan you saw the chain that son goku has are the same chain that kushina has the nine tail when the mask guy took it from her.
