Has anyone asked why Tobi didn't take both rinnegan eyes off of Nagato? Or is there something im not understanding?

that's easy he needs the sharingan for the spacetime jutsu and for him to pass through attacks

If Naruto does end up with the Rinnegan, it will probably go something like this:

Naruto and Sasuke fight-
Itachi shows up on the battlefield-
Sasuke will become enraged that his brother was dragged into the war as a dead corpse and change sides-
Sasuke fights with the good guys and gets his but handed to him by either Tobi or Madara-
Sasuke gives Naruto his life energy or something, to give Naruto the Rinnegan powers. I doubt this will anything like Kakashi and Obito, since I don't see Naruto taking out his own eyes when all he needs is Sasuke's DNA anyway-

If Naruto doesn't get the Rinnegan, it will go something like this:

Naruto and Sasuke fight-
Naurto has to make a "Hokage's Decision", and choose to save the village by killing it's No.1 threat-
Naruto kills Sasuke-
Somewhere Itachi kills Kabuto, thus killing Madara-
Naruto fights Tobi-
Naruto kills Tobi-

I personally don't think Naruto will get the Rinnegan, as he really doesn't need it. More than likely the 9tails will end up fully cooporating with Naruto, which will give him all he needs to beat Tobi. Naruto is clearly stronger than his dad at this point, and the 4th could've beaten Tobi back then if it werent for having to deal with the 9tails. I just don't see any reason to give Naruto the huge advantage of a Rinnegan.

Well said, Naruto is stronger than Minato at this moment.. just not smarter yet.. but he will be once he becomes Hokage.

I believe Naruto won't die.. and he won't kill Sasuke either. I believe Naruto and Sasuke will fight, Naruto will beat the F**k out of him, an emo Sasuke will leave for awhile but vow to come back an kill Naruto .. which will never happen.

Naruto doesn't need rinnegan.. think about it guys.. Itachi my fav. character gave him Shishu MS Eye then took it back because he realized that Naruto didn't need it because he already has the power he needs to beat anyone! He just needs to train and have a stronger will of fire. Why give him rinnegan if he didn't need a MS from the best ginjutsu user in konoha???????

But considering what we know as of now, if the rinnegan really is a superior form of the sharingan, then shouldn't it be capable of the same thing?

nope...although rinnegan is superior...they dont have the same jutsu as is obvious like u cannot use sussano or ameratsu with rinnegan

You might be right, but I'm still keen on the idea that Tobi was a Madara Zetsu Cloan designed to pull the strings in the shadows until it was time for the war and Madara could be brought back with Nagato's resurrection technique..... But once Nagato betrayed Tobi, that put a huge dent in the origional plan and Tobi had to put things in motion himself. I think those are sharingan... just Zetsu-ish Sharingan and not the real thing.

i think this would the most logical theory.

No, I don't think so. I think you took that chapter between Naruto and Sasuke way too seriously. Naruto wont die at all I don't think. Mainly because 1. there isn't any other way to revive him. No one in the joint army can use an Edo Tensi (which isn't really reviving him since he'll still be dead), and no one in the army can use the Rinnegan. I mean the only slim hope they would have of reviving him with that is if Sasuke somehow unlocks the Rinnegan maybe by taking Naruto's dna and then revives him. But seeing as how he would be the one to have killed him in the first place...yea I just don't see it happening.

what I meant was after Both of them died...he wud b revived in SOME OTHER UNKNOWN WAY givin another twist on the plot and after this revival naruto wud gain some other power (so6p???) with he wud beat tobi/ madara.....toad sage prophecy cannot b ignored.....the fact that he saw them both dieing can be prooved by the way naruto stops him from saying it and then goes on to say he saw it too...if u look back to the moment sasuke and naruto talk..u see naruto saying he saw them both dieing if they fought........ITS U who is not taking this seriously.. kishi never wud hv brought this thing up if it was just narutos "imagination" that can be taken very lightly....the fact that on those chapters naruto was making a big deal out ofit is proof that its really seriious business there.

I wonder if Tobi actually wants Madara to come back, maybe he just wishes to take full control himself instead of stepping aside for whatever plan Madara had

Maybe the plan is diffrent from what tobi explained at the summit. maybe this plan they speak of.isnt the moon eye plan rather than something else. or it could be the other way around that madara plan is the moon eye and tobi plan is different. that could explain why tobi had no.choice.to.join forces with kabuto because.maybe he feared that he.would.ressereuct(spelling) the real.madara.and he would put a stop.to tobi plan and go according his.plan or.who.ever.plan.their.reffering to. Rinnegan has connected vision... which comes from the sharingan that we just learned.. so is it that much of a stretch to say that the sharingan has a shared connection with the other eyes? how the **** could tobi know all this information, that mofo couldnt have been at everyplace. How did he know about the truth about itachi? only 4 people knew about it. it only makes sense that he knew because the sharingan are linked in some way. tobi sure has a lot of sharingan eyes at his hide out. Also, obito said i can see the future through your eyes kakashi, well im sure he had no clue that it would be true somewhat. its not that hard to believe that tobi has been collecting uchiha eyes for a long ass time and if he got obitos could he not have had access to whatever kakashi sees.

Mito is not Tsunade's mom...........thts naruto's grandmother, kushina's mother. Yes, Hashirama is his grandfather. O, 4got to mention. The Rinnegan belongs to the Uchiha clan. the so6p's gave the older brother his eyes and his chakra. The Rinnegan is the final activation level of the Uchiha eyes.

Mangyekou= sacrifice your loved one
Eternal= sacrifice your sibling and take his/her eyes
Rinnegan= Self Sacrifice

Once the user dies, the eyes r passed to a succesor (Nagato).......The Rinnegan awakens with the successor and "ALSO" revives the persons eyes tht were sacrificed. This is why Edo Madara said ("Nagato finally grew up" and "things arent goin according to plan"). But, it wasnt his eyes tht were sacrificed. It wuz his brother Izuna. Which means tht Tobi is indeed Izuna

Idk but i wouldn't be satisfied unless this all ends with Naruto and Sasuke. Maybe not to the death, but rather similar to their first, except that Naruto gets through to him. Cliche, but ehhhh

That technique he uses to warp to different locations is one evidence. A normal sharingan can't do so, if it did itachi would be able to use it. Everytime he does warp the center of the vortex is always at the right eye.

Not every technique he uses has to use sharingan, maybe it is HIS ability not his eyes

I still have no clue to.who tobi can be. Hes knows so much information to be,a minor character like obito or fugaku I guess.
Off topic: Anyone needs an 2 day xbox live trial? Yes I know you may not believe but when I bought it my xbox got the red ring the same. A waste if 2 cards.
