did you think that madara was really kabuto's trump card? did you think edo-madara like to being controlled by kabuto? of course, kabuto had to think that if itachi cancelled the jutsu? what more to madara? he's planning something that if madara cancel the jutsu, he will use his TRUMP CARD.. although he said that madara was his trump card..

Exactly, isn't the rinnegan more powerful than the sharingan? Maybe its because he needs his sharingan to perform that space time justu.

But considering what we know as of now, if the rinnegan really is a superior form of the sharingan, then shouldn't it be capable of the same thing?

Before Madara had the Rin'negan I always wondered what kind of elemental user he was I got to thinking that he more than likely has the ability to utilize both the fire and wind element. Just throwing that out there for shit's sake. I mean, I guess he could be lightning but I mean, that would be really lame, as we already have 1 Sasuke, we can't afford another because the manga will be in the shitter.
I was thinking that too and honestly, I think it's still a strong possibility but Kishi kinda weakened it this past week. It's becoming less like a brother scorned and more like a scorned son (Sage's Older Son), I think. Kabuto made me think about it, when he stated he wasn't sure that Tobi could pull off being the Fake Madara. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, it's only one chapter but it's definitely down to either of those, it can't be anyone else.

Also one more thing. Is it my imagination or when Tobi met Itachi, when he was about to slaughter his clan, had long hair and not short as we know him now and also as we saw him during the event at Konoha with the extraction of the kyuubi. Does this mean anything or not?
Yeap i asked the same thing. As i was browsing through the past chapters my eyes stuck at Kabuto's words about Sasuke. He said a young "LIVING" uchiha. Isnt this info that Sasuke is the one and only Uchiha alive? So that leaves us with the conclusion that Tobi isnt an Uchiha and that could explain the wall of Sharingans in his lab and his always activated Sharingan (remember Kakashi cant turn it off and yet we havent seen Tobi's MS). It does make sense though cause think;who are obsessed with the Sharingans? Those who doesnt have it. For example Danzo. An Uchiha would have been obsessed for a Sharingan only if he wanted more power meaning the EMS. I cant find any other reason why an Uchiha would want more Sharingans (i know that some will response to this with the Izanagi technique and that that would allow them to use it many times, but in order to do it you need senju dna as well so atm we know two people that can do this with one being Danzo and the other Tobi.
On the other hand though waht Kabuto said could just mean that Sasuke is the last living Uchiha of this era. What do you think guys?

Prolly cause you need to gain full control and not being overtaken by the Senju Dna. If you remember Danzo had a hard time controlling the Senju Dna and his arm almost turned into a tree. Tobi claimed that he had taken full control over it and i suppose Madara did the same. But this can explain as well the fact that Tobi isnt an Uchiha cause if he was then that would mean that he should have progressed to Rinnegan. So his Sharingan might have been implanted to him like Kakashi's. And considering all these you can explain as well the space -time Ninjutsu by saying that its a general ability that non-Uchiha's are earned when obtaining a Sharingan. Well many parts of this theory fit together so i would love to hear more opinions and try to end somewhere

i think Nagato wasn't as strong as Madara is now, because he had no Uchiha DNA. Tobi did good to not give him that.
But I still wonder how strong Tobi is. It feels as if he's weaker than Edo Madara, but than again Minato had some serious troubles with Tobi in the past.
Also it feels like Tobi having Rinnegan and 6 paths wasn't an original plan of his. More like an alternative solution for ''the situation''.
Otherwise he could have implanted the Rinnegan much sooner. He probably once had it himself, because he didn't need time to adept to it.

You might be right, but I'm still keen on the idea that Tobi was a Madara Zetsu Cloan designed to pull the strings in the shadows until it was time for the war and Madara could be brought back with Nagato's resurrection technique..... But once Nagato betrayed Tobi, that put a huge dent in the origional plan and Tobi had to put things in motion himself.
