OK I admit it I was wrong the 2nd isn't Tobi because I just realized something from reading it again.

Tobi is a Zetsu clone because when Madara is summoned he talks about Nagato & how he's grown I think Madara thought that Nagato had summoned but then Muu tells him he was Edo summoned. & remember back when Zetsu told Tobi that Nagato used the Rinne Tensei Jutsu to bring back the people he killed in Konoha Tobi said that Nagato was suppose to use that on him I guessing he meant the real Madara.

I figure the way Madara knew Nagato, was that whomever is behind the mask had nagato use Rinne Tensei to ressurect him, but at that time Nagato didn't have the power and Madara was only temporarily ressurected, the Rinne Tensei failed originally, but may have lasted long enough to allow the masked person to meet Madara, and for Madara to meet Nagato.

You know, that's a VERY good hypothosis. I think it's either that or Madara's brother. When Madara (or so we thought) said "that was ment for me" I really didn't know what he ment. My first idea was that it was a trump card incase Madara accedentaly died or something.

I wonder if the name is a play on words.. perhaps it's "to be" as in he intends to be Madara again. My bet is that after Madara's body died the spiritual energy of his eternal mangekyo sharingan lived on and its searching for the physical energy of the host body. The EMS is probably a curse. We saw the demon behind this power during Itachi's fight with Sasuke. That demon reached out and made a pact with zetsu; in other words with the earth itself where Madara fell. Zetsu is hosting the EMS until he can revive Madara. Madara probably had some contingency plan involving Nagato before he fought Hashirama. Zetsu was just supposed to keep him going until the rinnegan evolved

About Mask man i have a theory too maybe it's a new character ... i dont know some kind of legendar epic character from konoha or uchiha history ... i mean Kishimoto did this before ... first we had a lot of crazy theories about Akatsuki leader and it came out it was Nagato ... we never heard anything about pain or nagato until then ... after that we start making another flood of theories about who is toby and it came out it was madara ( or that's what we thought ) .... I mean c'mon Kishi always surprise us ... we all try to figure it out who this masked guy can be but maybe we never heard about him ...i mean it's verry hard to deduce who is the masked madara or guy or whatever ... but ... just don't exclude this possibility ...

Dude obito is dead!!! long gone.. he was a kid when kakashi was a kid.. how would he obtain a EMS??? when obito had no brother with Mangekyo sharingan to begin with?????

Stop making idiotic predictions and read the manga... wait go re-read the manga kid.

Tobi is the real madara he only has 1 EMS which has his sould trapped inside that zetsu body which is why he is wearing a mask.

The madara that kabuto just summoned looks to only have 1 right sharingan.. which would mean only 1 EMS.. Naruto will get real sparring match with a EMS user before he meets sasuke. EPIC.

I said that there's a very slim chance it's Obito, I actually doubt it's him.
Pretty sure Tobi can't be Madara unless he's a clone (infused Madara's DNA into a zetsu body).
Seriously I'm just posting my personal thoughts based on what I've gathered from the manga. Also it's a theory meaning it could be right or wrong.

By the way things r going, it may be that both tobi & edo tensei madara are part of the real madara idk.. why is it that we've always seen Tobi's right sharingan and now Edo madara has only his left sharingan.. anything's possible.. just something to think about...
