[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 557 Discussion and 558 Predictions

that just goes to show why gaara is the commander general of the entire army. first he was able to defeat his father, the previous kazekage. Then while battling against this second and stronger opponent, he used the remnants of his previous fight to win the battle. He was able to make use of the gold dust left behind from fighting his father. And the fact that he saved all the other ninja with that sand shield while doing so was just an added bonus to how strong gaara is.

I'm happy they had Gaara win by using his brains. I was expecting Naruto to swoop in and do some overpowered sh*t but i'm glad he didn't It's nice to see them using their brains instead of just becoming overpowered as usual. Naruto and Gaara both won their battles by using the opponents Jutsus against them, nice!

Really not that good of a chapter. At least the kage fights are over now. Also i'm happy Gaara beat the mizukage by himself.

i dont understand, their was action , doesnt that make people happy, or do you enjoy flashbacks/conversational chapters. or do you only want to see your favourite character and that will make you automatically happy.

Unlike last week I thought this chapter was amazing. This has had to be planned from the start which makes it a good set up by kishimoto. Nice twist with the hail, gas and gold.

Well, they introduced the new 6 Paths a long ways back and haven't seen them fight yet. Kabuto said he'd bring out his trump card a long time ago. And once Naruto escaped it was a few months until he actually fought a real battle.

Kishi does that--it's a way to keep us on the edge of our seats. I estimate Sasuke won't actually appear and/or fight untill November to December at best (4 to 9 weks). Long time, but Kishi has a habbit of doing that.

He wasn't sealed up, was he?

He hasn't been sealed yet but gaara stopped his strongest jutsu and the giant clam has already been destroyed, so the mizukage doesn't really have any moves left. Plus he is now trapped in gaara's pyramid coffin thing (sorry I don't remember the exact name of it). And plenty of reinforcements just arrived and more are nearby so they should have plenty of people that can seal the mizukage easily at the moment. So he really has been defeated at this point.

Same here overall I give this chapter a 4. It was a good fight and it show's Gaara's new good side, that I like. hopefully next week naruto doesn't jump in and F up the sealing process and release muu from the pyramid. For some reason I can see him appearing above the pyramid to rasengan Muu and that causes a semi big explosion giving Muu a little room to jump out of it.

great chapter, naruto seemed to have dominated the past chapters, it is actualy great to have gaara take the stage this time, i was a bit sceptical about his last minute appearance, but thanks to kishi, gaara had the full stage. i hope we would be seeing the "Uchiha's" soon..saske vs naruto, itachi vs madara...
