MANGA 668 : THE EIGHTH GATE OPENS....
GAI : The Green ( also said as "youthful" ) days of Konoha's beast are over. The time has come to become the Red Beast.
KAKASHI : ( confused ) When did you.. ?
MINATO : ( like a warning ) The toll from the eighth gate will kill you, Gai.
ROCK LEE : ( depressed ) Gai... Sensei..
GAI : Sensei, I'm the only hope to stall for time here. Kakashi...
( Kakashi looks at Gai )
GAI : Thanks to the challenges we had and thanks to Lee's "never giving up on being a shinobi", I was able to open the last gate, the Eighth Gate!
LEE : ( a tear drop in his eyes out of respect ) Sensei...
GAI : How long will it take for Naruto to come back?
KAKASHI : I can't say.
GAI : Gaara! I need some space.
GAARA : ( nods his head ) Alright!
( Gaara moves his arms )
( The sand gathers below everyone's feet except Gai and lifts them up )
GAI : ( doing nothing but standing still ) ......
MADARA : [ He's learned to open the 8th gate as well...? Not sure until I see it.. ] ( smirks )
( Gai remembers some flashbacks )

GAI : [ First Gate : Gate of Opening... Open! ]
KAKASHI : He's doing it.

GAI : Don't disrespect my Youth!! Kakashi

GAI : [ Second Gate : Gate of Healing... Open! ]
GAI : [ Third Gate : Gate of Life... Open! ]
GAI : [ Fourth Gate : Gate of Pain... Open!! ]
GAI : [ Fifth Gate : Gate of Limit.... Open!! ]
( The aura starts to cover his body as he opens the fifth Gate )
GAI : [ Sixth Gate : Gate of View... Open!! ]
GAI : [ Seventh Gate : Gate of Wonder.... Open!! ]
( The grounds bursts up into dust as he once again goes into the seventh gate )
GAI : [ Finally.... Eighth Gate! Gate of Death!!.... ]

( The red aura shoots out from his body and changes the surrounding green aura to red )
( Gai's body contracts a little )
KAKASHI : His body has become light.
GAARA : How?
KAKASHI : Because of...
KAKASHI/MADARA : The Boiling Blood.
LEE : In seventh gate, the water in our body is steamed up and released. But, the eighth gate uses the water inside the blood and releases it as steam from the body thus making the body further lighter. Because of this, the lack of water inside the body makes the body find source for water. And due to this, the body gets worked up than usual. A normal heart beats at 72 beats per minute. In the eighth gate, the heart beat rate increases, pumping more blood while releasing the steam.
KAKASHI : But there's a big catch. If a person is not physically strong enough, he'll die before he opens the eighth gate. But even after opening the eighth gate, the person is highly affected both physically and mentally and can cause death. It's up to Gai, how long he can hold Madara.
( Gai is shown )
KAKASHI : He's our only hope.
MINATO/GAARA/LEE : ....
MADARA : He was able to pull it off. I should not underestimate him anymore.
SFX : BURST!!!
( Gai bursts with high speed towards Madara )
( Madara widens his right eye )
( Gai moves close and suddenly the dust behind him is held still )
MADARA : [ I missed? ]
( Gai pulls back his right arm close to his body )
( Madara moves his arm a little )
SFX : BAM!!!
( Gai straight away punches on Madara's right arm )
( Madara is pushed back several meters away and is slammed into the ground and is covered with dust )
( Gai approaches further )
SFX : LEAP!!
( Leaps in air )
( Gai starts punching in air continously in Madara's direction )
( Several punches are thrown in Madara's direction at high speed into the cloud of dust )
LEE : [ That's Gai Sensei's Morning Peacock! They are strong and faster than usual ]
( The dust bursts out as the punches hits thus creating a lot of chaos into the dust )
( A widened Rinnegan is shown )
SFX : PUSH!!!
( The dust is pushed back thus nullifying the morning peacock )
MADARA : Punches like this cannot pierce through Shinra Tensei.
( Madara is shown barely managed to pull off Shinra Tensei at the last moment )
( A hand gesture is shown similar to Daytime Tiger but the last two fingers are tangled into each other and curled inwards )
( As the dust is shown to be cleared around Madara... )
SFX : ROAR!!!
MADARA : ?!!
( A huge sized, red colored tiger with jaws wide open approaches Madara out of blue )
( The tiger's mouth covers Madara )
SFX : MOVE!
( Gai lowers the hand gesture quickly as if ramming )
( The tiger lowers and slams over Madara )
( A huge crate forms as the tiger disperses leaving it's effects )
( The team hovering over the sand moves above the crate to see the results )
( Gai stands on the edge of the crate )
( Madara is shown surrounded by the black curved plate-like figures shielding him from all sides )
MADARA : Interesting.
( Madara smirks as his head bleeds from left side )
( Madara evades the fierceful tiger.... What is Gai's next move? )
