Seems to me like most Jutsus, the Edo Tensei was never used to it's full potential until now (kinda like the rasengan...yeah it worked but wasn't completed by the inventor). What Madara did might have been the final part of ET which makes the ressurection complete. Looking at the last page, Madara's face shows no cracks on his skin...he might actually be alive (unless it's just a manga mistake).

As for him being immortal i dunno..... The trend in Naruto (MOST of the time, to gain something greater you must lose something) ...just gotta figure out what that is in Madara's case. Him being completely invincible and unbeatable would be boring in my opinion. THERE HAS TO BE A TWIST SOMEWHERE....after all, this is Naruto we're talking about

He might have gained unlimited chakra but I hope the undying body thing is a bluff. I predict that the "RELEASE" on the last page is him actually releasing death from his body .......completely ressurected....and alive.

yeah hopefully he's just lying and what he actually did was rinne tensei to keep his spirit attached to this world; so he can be killed a little easier xd maybe sasuke'll come

What Madara ment by knowing the jutsu is simply that he must once in his lifetime experienced it. Edo tensei is a seal, The sharingan with it's copy abilities can but i assume with difficulity can make the user remember the seal in their mind. Of course Edo tensei is such a grand jutsu that the seal is immensly long. Which is why i say with difficulity.

Now that he does posses the Rinnegan, he is surely able to counter the seal itself. As if for instance you remember Nagato's Gakido(Preta Path) he uses his Fujutsu Kyuin to absorb all ninjutsu. But that jutsu is itself a seal. Still there is no visible seal on the Gakido's body nor the jutsu. The seal is the rinnegan. So i predict that Madara countered the Edo seal with simililar measures.

I'm highly excited to see him explain how he did so, to confirm this theory. If he does at all. Allso i wonder what Kishimoto will show us at later time of how they are able to defeat Madara. I wonder how many Kage's will die and whom will take Madara out, if it's Sasuke and Naruto, any of the Kage's, or if for any means they are able to ressuract Hashirama and Tobirama. As i have allways been curious to see their abilities in action, allso Madara does state Hashirama is the only one whom can defeat him, so will there be any means of how to release his soul from the Shinigami? And will he save the world again? That is atleast what i hope to see. So i'm excited of how things will turn out.

So Itachi was completely pointless. He stopped Chiyo and Kimmimaro from killing a few fodder samurai lol. I'm glad Madara finally made a comeback but those kages seriously need to die now.

I must say that I'm rather disappointed about this chapter.

We (or at least I) wanted to see a reunion between Tsunade and Dan, as well as his ominous Reika no Jutsu. Now that it finally happened, both things were packed into a ridiculously small passage. It was too short to bring over any kind of emotion, and aside from restoring Tsunade's Chakra it served no further purpose. Hence it seemed like Dan was just some quick excuse Masashi used to restore her Chakra, which hints that she still might have something important to do; but else? That entire meeting was just too hounded.

Well, but after all it was the best Dan coukd've done with the few time he had left. Apart from that I was pretty disappointed in Mei, not even being able to stop Madara's Katon technique. I'm totally agreeing that Madara is superior to them and could (or already could have) defeated them with ease if he wasn't just toying with them - but this was nothing so special. And after all, Mei is the Mizukage. No, that was rather disappointing. Furthermore they could've just dodged, instead of letting Tsunade sacrifice herself.

But apart from that, Madara is the embodyness of epicness. Now that he cannot be released anymore, at least not by any of the Kage, they're a 100% screwed - that's why I guess he'll quit fighting them and will make his way towards Tobi, for example. Or he kills them all. That wouldn't add some tragedy to the plop, but also add to Kishi's credibility. As for Sasuke and Kabuto, I'm interested in Sasuke's reaction, so hopefully we'll see some more from him next week. It can already be clearly seen that he's stunned, and literally left with 'light'.

Chapter started off slow then slowly started to piss me off then rediemed itself with the last page. I can't believe I was afraid Madara wouldn't make it, forgive me for doubting you basedgod. Also this chapter comfirms that endos have unlimited chakra.

So now Madara is just an immortal beast please oh please can on kage die now?

Mega plot hole!!!!! If all it takes to break out of Edo Tensei is to know the seal then second Hokage should have been able to brea free from it. This is what I call pulling one out your end side without giving it much thought...

From my understanding one can only free themselve if the perform the seal during the time that to summoner tries to release them. Since the second was never released( he was sealed with the dead deamon seal) he never had the opprtunity to release him self. So no plot hole, or at least not there.

No, one of the first pages you see Kabuto coming out of the Izamani technique Itachi placed him in. This is because Itachi's chakra has officially been depleted so the jutsu he casted on Kabuto has faded away.

Also, this means that Kabuto has regained control over Madara, but didn't have enough time to regain control of the other spirits.

Madara states at the last page that Kabuto shouldn't be too careless in his forbidden jutsu technique, as he nearly sent Madara's spirit away.

Now Madara is gonna kick those Kages butts and become the principal villain. - I wonder how Tobi will react.

As for Kabuto regaining conciousness from Izamani, i think not, even though Itachis chakra is absent I still think Kabuto has to own up the the path Itachi made for him in order for him to be released. When sasuke says I'M the speech bubble next to Kabuto was a blank, maybe indicating he is still under Itachis justsu.

Now as for Madara stating at the last page that summoner shouldn't be too careless in his forbidden jutsu technique, not because the user almost released madaras spirit, but because of the lack of understanding that the user lacked, Madara clearly said as long as the edo know the seal they can be released from the technique, and there is nothing more troubling than an immortal who has unlimited chakra running free

With that said Madara is free to do as he pleases, with no ties what so ever to Kabuto, every jutsu has a weakness and im thinking madara knew his days were short and maybe learned the edo release seal as a counter to if someone might be stupid and power hungry enough to summon him so he could release the tech and finished where he left off, Raping men and killing children :shrug:

I think that you are forgetting that there is a loop, he is invincible but once they bind him or he has a change in heart he can still go, and knowing naruto im betting highly on a change in heart, i mean maybe someone comes close to stopping him or the kages die off, but he changes heart.

Meh, they should have shown Sasuke's reaction and hinted at what he does next. I feel like Kishi kinda pulled Madara knowing the release seals out of his @ss but w/e. I'm sure he will give an explanation.

Thats a smart answer, i mean i was wondering the same thing,how the second, the maker of the jutsu couldnt release himself but thats true, madara didnt get his control till the jutsu was stopped, and u can even see that there was a break in between him getting released and him taking control.
