Xero, Im afraid I can't so readily dismiss this theory. There are many corrilations between Uchiha and tengu, and I don't think this was done on accident.
At any rate, the Tengu Theory is just that, a theory. You see, the thing is, just because a piece or two of the theory is proven wrong, to me, doesn't mean the thery is wrong. It just means it requires rethinking and perhaps bit of reworking. However, if the core of the message hasn't been disproven, in my mind, the theory itself hasn't been disproven.
Just like the Minato Sage theory. There are some factors that don't add up with this theory, however, there are some that do. Just because Fukusaku has never mentioned Minato doesn't mean he wasn't a sage, kind of a thing.
So until someone in the manga says Minato was or wasn't a sage, we don't know for sure and each side of the theory, both for and against, must update to support their argument.
This, for me, is the essence of theory creation. Update with the manga, roll with the punches, and include new information that supports your theory.
Until the maga itself has weighed in, every theory is open and livin, even if the breath it draws this week is araspy gasp, tommorow Chiyosama may grant it life.
