Naruto liked Sakura just because he wanted to be a rival of Sasuke?

Sakura was not the only one liking Sasuke

She was the only girl in team 7 that they spent a lot of time with and went with them on missions, she was the girl who showed the MOST interest in his rival and it grew more than a fangirl's crush during their missions in the hidden mist and forest of death.

It makes sense that he would target the one girl in their own team who is always seeking his rival's attention than all of the fangirls in Konoha.

I'm not saying that statement is accurate but it isn't too far fetched and the "Other girls liked Sasuke" argument is stupid.

It's just Kishi attempt to hide his mistakes. He knows that he wasted a lot of panels on Sakura/Naruto romance and made Naruto chase Sakura for atleast 500 chapters. Panels he could have used and should have used to build-up Naruto/Hinata if he was indeed planning to have this ending.

Funny how people accept anything that justifies the Naru/hina pairing.

98 happened during the Sakura-chan days.
It still had Hinata to be the one actually DOING it.
Not to mention the unique BLOOD VOW as well.
Retrospectively, that chapter alone is the biggest hint of NaruHina being end game.
Cause IF it was Sakura instead of Hinata - it'd be the other way around.
But it WASN'T.

it's called seeking for attention, envy and jealousy.

Naruto wanted Sasuke attention, Sakura wanted Sasuke attention, they both love him, that's the thing they have in common and of course, being in the same team.

Naruto was envious and jealous of Sasuke even before team 7 was created, he probably had a crush for Sakura later because she's the only girl Naruto has been in contact with like everyday.

so of course, when this girl shown she had only eyes for Sasuke, he became even more jealous and envious towards him and started chasing her but not because he really wanted her, just because he wanted more than what Sasuke had.

if you don't understand this, damn you have issues.

Naruto protected Sakura for Sasuke, he never loved her in a romantic way at all.


he unlocked the full 9 tails in a sec when he tough Hinata was killed by Pain, lost his mind entirely, said he never suffered like this before, it was like he didn't care for anything else because the world ended for him at this moment.
he also forgot about Sasuke his best friend, the village safety, his own dream and basically everything...that's something huge and totally different
