I like the elements. But mixing it with rasengan.. Kishi could do so much with Naruto.. Since the start

Same for sasuke right now Amaterasu and Susano.. Its just lame.

i like this power up more than the idea of "psuedo juubi jin mode"or whatever people made up
rasengan variations and kage bunshin is naruto's fighting style
rasengan was based off a the tailed beast bomb and seeing naruto spit out lava wouldn't be in his character

Sure as long as it looks cool, hardly the same move. But funny thing is you wouldnt even know a new move to give to Naruto, its easy to criticize but hard to actually think yourself What would have been better.

Besides, it makes sense that his powerup would affect his rasengan. Jiraiya told Naruto long ago to work on techniques that he is already good at. A guy that knows 1000 kicks isn't as dangerous as one who has done one kick 1000 times. Maybe there is more to see.

What kind of powerup do you want to see for Naruto?

I don't see what the problem is. Even if he uses a new rasengan, it's still something new. It's still lava style, it's not like all the rasengan varients have the same effect when used and its destructive force is greater than most jutsus, so why settle for less?

If he used a justu that he didn't train for, Sasuke fans would call BS and say that he didn't train for it...etc.

Do you really think a lava style rasenshuriken would have the same destructive capacity as a normal rasenshuriken?

Let's think about it for a second. A normal rasenshuriken has a big rasengan in the middle, while a lava style has a big lava ball in the middle. Would it have the same effects as a normal rasenshuriken? No, so I would barely call it a same ol' rasengan varient.

Just think about it as a lava style jutsu on a big scale and what does lava style do? Burn and melts. so we should wait till the end of the jutsu's execution to judge if it is a same ol' rasengan.
