I went back and reread some chapters for fun and I'm probably late but I realized that all along, Naruto probably knew what Sasuke was going to do. Using the nine-tails cloak mode let him read minds (I think or emotions, some sh!t like that). You could even see his face when Sasuke talked about executing the Kage, he wasn't even phased in the slightest.

Even when Kakashi asked Sasuke what his current goal is; Naruto just glanced through the corner of his eye as if hoping to confirm himself wrong and that Sasuke actually was a good person again.

Just like how he knew Black Zetsu was going to betray Madara, like how he knew how to manipulate people such as Obito and Nagato into being goodie goodies by playing with their heartstrings

in the latest anime episode i notice something i hadnt noticed before, when sasuke said to juubito " you´re not gonna severe the past ,i will" then we see a picture of team 7 and naruto´s face tear down, by the look of the face of naruto you can tell that naruto was feeling the bad intentions from sasuke, he had a thoughtful face when sasuke said that.

It was foreshadowing, yes. He probably knew from that very moment what was going to happen, in combination with his encounter with Hagoromo.
