Back when sasuke first arrived and said he was going to become hokage naruto was the only one without a shocked expression. Every bomb sasuke dropped naruto didnt show any sign of shock to new info. He knew all along that sasuke was planning something to this degree.

I feel like this shows narutos confidence in their bond that he can change sasuke. Even the sage said that naruro mistve somehow knew that deep down he had a great bond with sasuke because he wasnt suprised by being ashuras reincarnate nor sasuke being indras.

What do you think? How long has naruto known?

I believe he learned about that special bond after sasukes fight with danzo and they clashed. That it was just no ordinary friendship bond. And when sasuke joined the battlefield he knew of his current plans

Youre not getting what im sayin bruh. Kishi purposely through that in at a break time. Like all good writers do they plan things out. He couldve easily gave us another chapter in the break and did this next week after.

I think he had a hunch but wasn't sure of Sasukes plans, like he knew it was going to be something he didnt agree with but not sure to what extent it would be to. He and Sasuke needed each other so they cooperated, but now that their common threat is no longer there, they can fight it out. Kishi plans well with the manga. Some times with too much bs but it works out in the end. The anime just caught up with Sasuke entering the battlefield and not even Juugo knows his intentions. Fast forward to the where the Manga is, Kishi gives us the answer. Not sure if its just coincidence or if he and the anime producers planned it out.
