Naruto Kino no Kaiso Chapter 1 | Part 1
An icy chill pervaded through the black night. Cold, except for the unnatural hot wind blowing south with strong scent of acrid smoke. Through the dark starless sky slightly covered by clouds, intermittent moonlight shone on to the thick green forest revealing, little by little, a snaking trail of destruction. Burnt and broken tree stumps lay on the ravaged path – some still burning with small, flickering flames – as well as fallen branches and other debris interspaced with giant animalistic footprints.
A dark figure wrapped in a long, black hooded cloak ran through the woodland almost silently, the robe-like mantle secured at its waist, its lower folds flapping gently behind like a floating shadow. The only sound was the dry vegetation softly crunching beneath thick black boots as it followed the trail onward. Ruby-red eyes took wide sweeps, observing the desecrated area. A golden sword with a dragon on it was adjusted briefly by a hand as it sped up the pace. The quarry was close… and the next time you saw the man’s eyes, they were characterized by a ripple-like pattern over the eyeballs, with a light purple iris and sclera.
That was basically the description of Jiro Island and how it was living there for months. Tsubasa being the only person going there, staying there and surviving always had dreams about it. It didn’t haunt him, but it was as if it was a reminder for him so he knew what he had been through. What truly haunted him were the deaths of the only three people he ever cared about. He hadn’t been to any of the Five Great Nations in years, but knew he soon would have to. While he hadn’t experienced any of the happenings lately such as the attack on the Leaf and Sand villages, it was easy to get caught up.
Tsubasa was riding on the back of his Hawk summoning he called Garuda… and he was heading to one place: Takigakure, the Village Hidden by a Waterfall. Tsubasa was heading there to pay his respects to his father, his mother and probably most importantly, his younger brother Max.
“So, it’s been a year since that battle against the Seventh Hokage, Kurama Namikaze that had the both of you at the brink of death, eh?” Garuda questioned.
Tsubasa smirked and nodded simply. Tsubasa knew that without that battle he wouldn’t have awakened the Rinnegan which he can switch back and forth with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan at will. Similar to how Edo Madara did in his battle against the Five Kage sometime ago… “I apologize for this, but I have to question you about where you are in this war and what your motives are…”
“I am neutral… Garuda. I have no intention of controlling the world nor do I have the intention of foolishly trying to create a peace that will never exist forever. I am against both the Five Great Nations and the reemergence of Haseo, the Bringer of Darkness. While I would love another battle against my Rival Kurama, I’m afraid that Haseo is going to have to be the first to go… especially if he resurrects his team… The Ruin.” Tsubasa explained.
Garuda was wide-eyed for a moment. Haseo was known to be a myth and was extremely powerful… powerful enough to go toe to toe with the Sage of Six Paths and the Juubi. He inevitably loss of course though… Nevertheless, there seemed to be more Bad guys than good guys these days considering the rise of two other Criminal Organizations with similar but different goals… those two groups were the Hatsukaisen and the Shitei Takai.
Arriving at the Land of the Waterfall, Tsubasa pulled the hood of his black Chakra suppressing cloak over his head. The only features of his face anyone would be able to see if you saw him right now was his nose on down. Takigakure was seemingly a ghost town now, or so it seemed. Really, the Land of the Waterfall was one of the most hated nations. It was hated most by its own Shinobi. The reason why was because it always seemed that they’d try to make the most powerful of their Ninja feel like outcast. Perhaps they thought nothing but trouble would come from having powerful ninja living there and representing the village.
Aside from Tsubasa’s family, one other person he always prays for is Fu. Fu was a kunoichi from Takigakure and the former jinchūriki of Chōmei, the Seven-Tails. She despised humanity due to being neglected and hated by her village. However, the reason they hated her was because of her status of Jinchuuriki. She was definitely more cheerful, somewhat carefree and happy go-lucky around other Jinchuuriki or others who had been outcast by Takigakure. This was one of many reasons Tsubasa felt the same hate for humanity yet loved the Bijuu.
After locating the entrance which is still hidden behind a waterfall so other ninjas from outside the village couldn’t attack it, Tsubasa was officially back home. Walking on the long bridge inside of the village that was surrounded by the forbidden water, the white-haired male began to visualize everything that happened when he was a child. After falling and almost drowning in the water when he was younger, there seemed to be some distinct connection between him and the water. He was pretty much one of the only still living Shinobi of Takigakure… or at least the only known living one. As he visualized his father saving his life, the worry on his mother’s face and playing with his younger brother no emotion was shown.
Finally making it to his old house, he entered and looked around. It still looked the same. It was as if the village wasn’t abandoned. Falling down on his knees where he and his family ate, he began to pray for them.
“Almighty Eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness, be kind to the soul of Your servants Jin Hwoarang, Trisha Matsumata, Max Hwoarang, and Fu. Cleanse those whom You have called from this world of all their faults, take them into the Realm of Light and Peace and into the Community of Your Saints, and give them their share of Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom.”
From here on out, this was his home again and he’d one day reform his village. For now, this was where he’d train. Here and Jiro Island of course… since he was the only known living Shinobi from Takigakure, he was putting himself in charge of protecting the Hero water. Not long after his prayer, he left the village and stood on top of the giant tree that hides the village from above.
It was time for the lone Takigakure Shinobi to prepare himself for the battle, or possibly war that was ahead and he was preparing himself in a way that showed that he was more than ready to fight against all of the factions by himself if he had to, regardless of how impossible it might be.
Okay, so let me set some things straight before you begin reading this to avoid confusion.
This is based on the theory that the Rinnegan being a natural evolution of the EMS. Tsubasa Hwoarang Uchiha is 25-years of age and is the new descendent of the son with the eyes. Is he incredibly powerful? Yes… of course he is, but that doesn’t mean battles won’t be interesting. Due to this being next generation and there will be new Kekkei Genkai introduced along with old ones, things are going to be good.
I do write regularly and not in "Script" form so I apologize to those who enjoy reading that way. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy reading and if you have any questions or concerns, don’t be afraid to give me some constructive criticism.
Side Note: More will be explained as the chapters progress such as the extent of Haseo's power since when you read the chapter you'll probably be like, "Holy crap that's ridiculous," how Tsubasa even got the EMS before the Rinnegan, how Tsubasa's Sharingan's look and more...
