on the day Naruto is born his parents die and he becomes a host and every body in the village hates him and he doesn't understand why and is treated like scum most of his child hood like just like he told sasuke he could of easily lashed out and attacked the villagers and been on the side of revenge but chose peace and to save them

on the other hand sasuke is born into an elite clan has a mother and father and brother to love him and teach him every thing even thou for 7-8 years his clan is killed by his brother and chose to go after him gets what he wants itachi dead but still wants more blood and want to kill his past friends and the whole leaf (women and children) and most of them know nothing about his clan death

i still don't understand how people can like sasuke

not talking about power just personality and life choices

As Yo said I understand why Sasuke would want to seek revenge on the village because of the loss of his family. I think it's also safe to assume that Sasuke's not thinking rationally at this point and has just gone completely insane.
