Chapter Five Part Four

Dyno is sitting, his leg bouncing up and down in sheer anxiety. His thoughts are focused only on his friend and teammate. His face is coated with sweat, reflecting his feelings on the matter. Lee notices Dyno’s concerned look. He leans back in his chair; trying to calm himself down, telling himself it will be alright. Not only is Dyno rattled by the outcome of events, but Lee has raised that to the point of bursting throught the doors. Kankuro walks into the waiting room, student at his side.
Dyno (jumping from his seat): You bastard!
Lee grabs him, trying to hold his own anger in. Kankuro keeps walking, and enters the medical room. The medical-nin are astonished; however, Kankuro continues to walk towards Toppuu. Kankuro removes a flash from side pack and opens it, ever so gently as to not spill a drop. The medical room itself is relatively large, enough for twenty medical-nin to fit fairly easily. There are two medium sized desks, filled with clutter of various intruments of surgery and herbs for the poison. Kankuro meanders his way to the center of the room, where a motionless Toppuu awaits. Kankuro tips the flask and four violet drops fall into Toppuu’s opened mouth. His swallowing reflexes move, forcing the boy to ingest the liquid. His body stirs once, arms slightly moving. Suddenly, as if electrocuted, Toppuu springs up from his bed. He looks around the room, noticing the medical-nin.

Toppuu: Wha-what’s going on?
MN: Toppuu Gekko, you have been brought to intensive care because of your unknown poison.
Toppuu: Right, that puppet using ******* poisoned me.
Sabaku: Hey! It wasn't meant to harm you. I just faked your death. It was…entertaining.
Kankuro: Hm. You should be fine now Toppuu. The poison hasn't harmed any areas of importance. Are you going to compete again?
Toppuu: Of course! If I’m not hurt from the poison, then nothings holding me back! Where’s my sword? Where are my clothes? I need to get back.
MN: Whoa there, you still have a day or two before you next battle. We need you to stay here until you have been cleared. Your friends are waiting outside if you want to see them.
Toppuu: Which ones?
MN: Two men with strange bowl cuts and bushy eyebrows, and a third kid with a bowl cut and less bushier eyebrows.
Toppuu: Oh. So Dyno’s here. You can let them in.
MN: Alright.
The medical ninja exits the room and explains the situation to the three taijutsu fighters as Kankuro and Sabaku walk out. Lee shoots Kankuro a dirty look as they pass, showing his anger towards him. Whilst these events occur, two genin engage in a furious battle.

A hidden mist girl with two fanged swords rotates quickly, releasing bolts of lightning while in the act. A male ninja, sporting a Hidden Sand headband around his forehead, twists a massive iron fan to create slicing gales of wind. The two attacks clash mid-air, slashing at each other, trying to make the other give up. The wind extinguishes the lighting, forcing it to give up. The boy continues to sweep across the air with his fan, creating more gusts. Yakudatsu attempts to deflect the oncoming gusts with her bolts, but to no avail. The wind advances in the battle of elements, creeping ever so calmly towards the defying mist shinobi.
Yakudatsu: *Damn, I can’t keep this up for very long. I’ll try and use that jutsu.
Yakudatsu jumps, weaving a single handsign. Mist suddenly encases the arena, leaving visibility to a minimum. The Sand ninja starts to swing his fan around to counter the mist, but is blocked by Yakudatsu’s Kiba’s.
Yakudatsu (smiling): You know what metal is? A conductor!
Yakudatsu sends jolts of lightning through the blade and into the fan. The strike electrifies the mist and the sand ninja, creating a miniscule explosion, blowing him back. Yakudatsu moves swiftly towards the sand genin, trying to be there when he falls. She barely makes it in time and raises her swords, prepared to vanquish the kid. The sand grabs his fan and opens it, which is slashed by the two fanged swords. Without the fan, the sand genin cannot make his winds, leaving him to kunai and the iron holdings of his previous weapon.
SN: Damn you! I will defeat you no matter what! Even if I’m down to my fists, I’ll punch you into submission.
Yakudatsu: No you won’t. I have the upper hand. Even without my lightning jutsu I can still win. I am a master of
kenjutsu. One of Seven Ninja Swordsmen!
SN (shaking): Th-the S-s-seven ninja swordsmen.
Yakudatsu (smiling, her jagged teeth showing through her lips): I see you’ve come to the realization of my strength. It was nice playing with you.
The sand ninja falls to his knees as mist envelopes his being. Yakudatsu appears behind him, using her Silent Killing technique. She places both swords next to his neck, ready for the win.
Yakudatsu: Do you submit?
Silence
Yakudatsu: I’ll ask once more. Will you submit? If you don’t I’ll finish this once and for all.
Silence
Yakudatsu: Fine.
Yakudatsu crosses her swords in a fluid motion, decapitating the sand ninja. The crowd is sitting there, motionless, wondering what is happening in the mist. There are several murmurs, all about the Hidden Mists history with killing.Yakudatsu stands there as her mist is pushed away by fans of the sand ninja. Once visibility has regained, she notices the liquid emerging from the kid’s open neck wound, a mixture of water and sand.
Yakudatsu: Hmph. That’s why he wasn’t responding. Where could he be?
SN: Right behind you!

Yakudatsu suddenly spins around, noticing the genin with two kunai in hand. She raises her swords, interlocking them with the two opposing blades. Sparks fly as the two metals grind against each other. Yakudatsu sparks up with electiricty. She funnels the lightning chakra into her blades, which takes on the appearance of lightning bolts. The Kiba blades cut through the kunai as Yakudatsu slashes them across in an X pattern. The tips of the blades connect with the sand ninja, leaving an X in his clothes and small cuts on his chest. Yakudatsu presses forward, slashing furiously, trying to land even a single blow. The sand genin continues to jump back, dodging every lighting bolt of a slash.
Yakudatsu: *I’ll need to use that jutsu. I’m low on chakra, but I still have enough for it to at least knock him out.*
Yakudatsu retreats from her attack on the sand kid. He looks at her, slightly startled. She buries her Kiba into the ground, and holds firmly onto the handles.
Yakudatsu: Lightning Style: Thunder Gate!
Multiple streaks of lightning pour down from the sky, striking the arena with numerous explosions. Unfortunately for the sand ninja, he is the receiver of one of these strikes. The bolt strikes him, which electrifies him for a short period of time. The sand genin lies on the ground, unconscious. Darui makes his way to the middle to announce the winner of the battle. Chojuro converses with the Mizukage as he does so.
Mei (taken aback): Chojuro, did you teach her that jutsu?
Chojuro: No, Lady Mei. I have no idea where she picked it up.
Mei: Hm, this ones special. She has the makings to be a fantastic swordsman.
Chojuro: She has excelled in all of her kenjutsu classes, as well as chakra control and numerous others.
Mei: Is that so? What about the other students?
Chojuro: I only have those three, and she’s the best of them all. That’s why she has the Kiba blades; she’s skilled enough to efficiently use them.
Mei: Alright. Thank you for your information, Chojuro-chan. (winking)
Chojuro (blushing): N-not a p-problem Lady Mei.
Since the Fourth Great Ninja War, Chojuro and Mei have been seeing each other. His confidence has boosted dramatically because of her, which allowed him to efficiently guide and teach Yakudatsu’s squad. They are the three top genin in their class, and are all extremely talented in kenjutsu.
While the battle is ongoing, the three Sound ninja arrive in the Hidden Sound Village. The eree location with it’s lit up candles always somewhat chills them, even if they are native to the village. They enter a room over the thousands of others, where the leader of the village awaits. They call him Otokage, however, none of the great nations knows who he is, and don’t recognize them as a legitiamately powerful country.

Otokage (with a somewhat bland and sinister voice): What do you want?
Ninja 1 (sounding a bit worried): My Lord, we have some information for you about the larger villages. They are going to demilitarize during this time of peace.
Otokage (with a half smile): Good. Those fools don’t know what’s coming to them. Orochimaru how is your work on the curse marks?
Orochimaru (licking his lips): Fantasstic my Lord. The rate of deathsss is dropping dramatically. Sssoon we will be able to implant enough for a small milita of curssse marked ninja.
Otokage: Excelent.
Suddenly, another ninja bursts into the room, panting heavily.
Ninja 4: My Lord! We have found the Akatsuki lab!
Otokage: Perfect, it hasn’t been destroyed. I’m going myself; there are things I need to check out. Show me the way.
The Otokage and the Sound ninja head in the direction of the Akatsuki lab, located between the Hidden Sound and Hidden Waterfall, otherwise known as the mountain graveyard. The trek will take them the remainder of the Chuunin Exams.

The arena is buzzing, not with the crowd, but with a profussness of insects. Shiha Aburame, hands raised, conducts the beetles as if a symphony; each individual Kikaichuu being a specific instrument. The opposing side, Shirobachi
Kamizuru of the Hidden Rock, is reflecting Shiha’s movements and attacks. He commands his bees like an opposing conductor, mimicking a battle of the symphonies. The battle between the two famous insect clans in the world unfolds.
Shirobachi: A Thousand Stingers Jutsu!
Portions of the massive swarm of bees project a volley of senbon-like venomous stingers.
Shirobachi: Hmph, right on target.
As the stingers connect with Shiha, her entire body disintegrates into numerous kikaichuu. The kikaichuu take form behind Shirobachi, revealing a hidden Shiha. She thrusts her hand forward as the parasitic insects fly towards the Kamizuru.

Barely having enough time to counter-attack, Shirobachi disappears into a portion of her bees, confusing the beetles. She commands them like an army, taking the axis full on. The beetles and hornets mash together, fighting each other. It takes several beetles to take down a single bee, giving Shiha a major disadvantage. Shiha recalls her kikaichu, letting the bees attack head on. A silent breeze rolls in, sweeping Shiha’s black locks across her forhead. As if prepared for the impact, Shiha’s body disappears into a cluster of insects. The bees stop, floating, as if hung by strings coming from the puppeteer of the sky. Shirobachi recalls her bees, ending the buzzing noise. She sits and listens, hoping to hear even a drop of sweat or anything at all. A swarm of beetles appears and buzzes towards her at alarming speeds.
Shirobachi: Hidden Hornet Jutsu: A Million Stingers!
Numerous stingers shoot out of the sleeves of Shirobachi’s overcoat, straight at the swarm of beetles headed towards her. One by one, the flying insects are taken out, revealing the Aburame underneath. Shirobachi raises one arm, firing only one stinger at Shiha. It sticks in her forhead, barely penetrating the skin. The body falls from the insects, landing on the ground with a thud. Shirobachi approaches her, smiling.
Shirobachi: I have finally done it! I have beaten the famous Aburame Clan! We of the Kamizuru clan are now the best bug ninja out there!
Darui: The winner of this fight is Shirobachi Kamizuru of the Hidden Rock. The next round of battles starts tomorrow. Go rest and come back, because tomorrow will be exciting.
The crowd cheers, anticipating the coming exhilarating fights.

Authors Note: This ending wasn't too good. Feel free to comment on that as much as you like.
Authors note: I am changing Shibi to Shiha since Shibi is already Shino’s dad. Sorry about the change, I made a mistake and need these cannon. (Or at least very storylike filler, I will have none of that Chikara-type bullshit.)
