The two teams stand across from each other, the wind blowing through the trees. Ryuzo’s gray spiky hair is dripping with sweat. The two groups of genin charge at each other, weapons drawn. Fukutsu throws two kunai, while Patsuta and Kameha are weaving hand signs. Ryuzo and the Boil Release shinobi dodge the kunai, and the BR shinobi starts to weave hand signs as well.
Patsuta: Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullets!
Kameha: Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!
The two jutsu combine to form faster, larger Phoenix Flowers. One connects with the third Hot Water shinobi, sending him into a nearby tree. Ryuzo grasps his scythe and throws it across the field, while holding the rope attached to the bottom. His scythe is deflected by Kamehas’ kunai, and she throws a kunai with wire at Ryuzo. It sticks into his stomach. Ryuzo looks up, grinning.
Kameha: Hmph.
She weaves a couple hand signs, and places the end of the wire in her teeth.
Kameha: Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!
The fireball turns into a stream going down the wire. It connects with Ryuzo searing his insides. There is a huge volume of smoke. The Boil Release shinobi jumps from it and appears overhead.
The BR member weaves his hand signs.
BR: Boil Style: Boiling Water Gun!
The boiling jet of water blows through a tree and hits a wall of earth made by Fukutsu.
Fukutsu (smiling): You have to be faster than that…
Suddenly Fukutsu grasps his thigh, where a puncture wound seems to have surfaced.
Fukutsu (wincing): When did this happen?...
Kameha rushes to his assistance, while Patsuta searches for the culprit. Patsuta sees Ryuzo, in his skeletal skin color. He is standing in the symbol, with a kunai in his thigh.
Ryuzo: HAHAHAHA, It seems as though you have forgotten my trick. It’s over. I can visibly see both of you. There is no taking me by surprise this time! Give me the scroll!
Patsuta: Damn, we lost.
Fukutsu (wincing): No, not yet. I can bear through this pain. I have a plan.
Song: Need to be Strong
Fukutsu brings the two closer, and explains his plan.
Suddenly, another wall erupts from the ground, blocking Ryuzo’s line of sight. Ryuzo grins again, stabbing himself in his other thigh.
Fukutsu (in pain): AAAAAAAAHHHH
Ryuzo: It’s no use! You can’t win!
The wall crumbles, leaving team seven completely vulnerable. Patsuta has the scroll in his hand, and jumps in front of Ryuzo.
Patsuta: Here you go. Take it. I can’t see my friend die.
Ryuzo: Good choice.
Ryuzo takes the scroll, but it disappears in his hands.
Song: Reverse Situation
?: Water Style: Water Wave Palm!
The water washes away the symbol, causing the curse to be undone once again. Patsuta lands near Ryuzo, while Fukutsu weaves hand signs again. Four walls of stone envelop Ryuzo, trapping him. The two teammates of Ryuzo stand near him, ready to attack the others. The three members of team seven clash with the two of the
Hot Water village. Patsuta takes on the Boil Release shinobi, while Kameha takes the other. Fukutsu places another slab of stone on top of the prison, making it a coffin.
Patsuta and the BR ninja exchange blows with their kunai. The two blow each other back, and weave hand signs.
Patsuta: Wind Style: Powerful Water Gun!
BR: Boil Style: Boiling Water Gun!
The two jets of water connect with each other. A huge volume of steam envelops the area. Patsuta takes this as his chance.
Patsuta: Hmph.
He makes three water clones all holding kunai. They attack the BR shinobi simultaneously, slashing him on his arms and legs. The BR shinobi falls to the ground in pain and exhaustion. Patsuta retrieves the scroll from his back pocket, and goes to Kameha’s battlefield. She already won her fight, and is sitting on the others body. The scene switches to Naruto, who is having a conversation about the best food from every village.
Naruto: Ichiraku has the best food around!
Darui (lazily): Meh, the Kazuya Barbeque is the best I’ve ever had.
Bee: The Kazuya Barbeque fills you up, while Ichiraku bills you up!
Naruto: Their prices are worthy of their food!
Darui: Not really…
Naruto: Whatever, Ichiraku is still the best.
A flash of smoke suddenly appears, with Saido standing next to Naruto
Saido: Sir, your team has engaged another. They are currently in battle.
Naruto: Well, tell me what’s happened.
Saido relays the entire battle to Naruto. Naruto’s facial expressions go from worried, to surprised, back to worried, and finally to acceptance. He is happy with how his team handled the situation, but knows how lucky they are. Naruto realizes that this was their second encounter with a powerful unit of a smaller village. He shrugs it off as sheer coincidence, thinking it of nothing. He congratulates his team on their hard earned win.
The scene switches to the Mansion, where Team Seven is delivering their scrolls.
Song: Victory
Fukutsu (panting from pain and exhaustion): We…finally…did it. It took us long enough.
A day has passed since the beginning of the exams. The team somehow was lost for a period of time, and ran out of food and water. Luckily, Team Six was passing by, on their way to the mansion as well.
Shiga: You should be happy we aided you. If not for us, you would have been lost forever!
Patsuta: We appreciate your help, but you don’t have to rub it in. It’s not like we had a choice with Fukutsu’s condition.
Shiga: We got here without him dying, so that’s a plus.
Kameha: Yea… How long have you guys been done?
Shiga: We finished within the first hour and a half. The teams leave their scent all over the place. It was easy for us to track them down.
Kameha: Why were you out for so long?
Shiga: Just wanted to watch the other fights, no other reason.
Patsuta: Fair enough. We have to get Fukutsu to a medical ninja.
Kameha: Right.
Shiga: We’ll part ways here. We are going to go find some other Leaf Teams and watch what they’re up to.
Fukutsu: sounds…good…
Shiga: Later.
Team Six leaves Team Seven at the mansion. Shiga tracks down Team Two’s scent, to see who they are fighting.
Shiga comes to a clearing where two teams are facing off. Team Two, and a Team from the Hidden Mist. One is carrying two swords with what seems like fangs protruding out. Dyno is at the front of Team Two, ready to attack.
Dyno: You three will give up your scroll now or after I’m done with you. Your choice…
Mist With Swords: How about….No…
Dyno: Who are you three, so I can brag later?
Mist with Swords: I am Yakudatsu Retasu. I am one of the new Seven Ninja Swordsmen. You will parish under my might!
Mist 1: I am Kyoka Hozuki, form the Hozuki clan.
Mist 2: You need not know who I am; it’s none of your business.
Dyno: Good. Then we shall fight for the scrolls.
Yakudatsu: It’s more like, you will lose.
Dyno: Funny! You are a comedian.
Yakudatsu: Hmph.
Yakudatsu weaves a hand sign. A thick mist surrounds the two groups. The mist shinobi disappear from sight.
Dyno: Come out and fight you cowards!
A bolt of lightning comes hurdling towards Dyno at a high speed. It hits him in the chest and launches him into a tree.
Dyno: Ughh, where did that come from?
Another bolt of lightning comes shooting at Dyno, but he quickly dodges it. His clothes are singed a bit, and he stumbles to his feet.
?: Vacuum Wave!
The mist suddenly becomes sucked into a wave of air. Toppuu is standing there, one sword already drawn. He has an expression of nothingness, not even blinking at his own ingenious.
Dyno: Thanks Toppuu!
Toppuu: Hmph.
Song: Rinkai
Dyno rushes towards the enemy, and engages Kyoka head on. He begins with a flurry of fists and kicks, each one landing a blow. Toppuu takes on Yakudatsu, while Shinku takes the unkown ninja (who will be referred to as UN)
Dyno’s attacks are having minimal effect. Each landed hit is being absorbed by a watery substance on the skin.
Kyoka (mid fight): Have you figured it out yet? I can’t be hit by taijutsu!
Dyno: *Thinking* Damn, what can I do? That’s all I know.
Dyno: Toppuu, I need your help.
While Toppuus and Yakudatsu’s swords connect, he calls out:
Toppuu: I’m kind of busy right now!
Dyno (mid attack): I know! We need to fight together!
Toppuu: *Thinking* Dyno hasn’t ever asked my help for anything. What could be wrong?
Dyno: Just trust me on this!
Toppuu: Ok, get over here then.
Dyno deflects a punch, and does flips to the spot Toppuu is. Kyoka follows, and the two members of Lee’s team are back to back.
Dyno (while grabbing Kyoka’s fist): I have an idea.
Toppuu (shoving Yakudatsu off): What is it?
Yakudatsu brings his swords together and summons some electricity.
Dyno: Duck….
The lighting shoots over Toppuu and Dyno, and hits Kyoka. The lighting intensifies as it mixes with the watery substance that is Kyoka’s body. He falls to the ground in extreme pain. Shinku has UN in a genjutsu, so his
battle is going smoothly. That leaves a two v. one between Toppuu with Dyno v. Yakudatsu.
Yakudatsu: Good. That fool is out of the way. Now I can use all the jutsu I want to.
Toppuu: Get ready for some fireworks.
Dyno: Right.
Yakudatsu sticks his Kiba into the ground.
Yakudatsu: Lightning Style: Thunder Gate!
Lighting from her blades shoots toward the sky. Storm clouds gather, and other bolts of lightning hit the area where the swords are. The bolts strike near the two genin, as well as hitting Shinku. He is knocked unconscious, and UN is released from his genjutsu. The battle ends up being a four on four. The four charge at each other.
Toppuu runs at Yakudatsu, sword drawn.
Yakudatsu: Lightning Style: Thunderbolt!
The thunderbolt travels across the field, into the tip of Toppuu’s sword. It courses down his sword, and electrifies him.
Toppuu: *thinking* Shit.
Toppuu runs at Yakudatsu, but without his sword in hand. The thunderbolt hits the tip of another sword, and electrifies Toppuu once again.
On the other hand, Dyno is beating up the UN with his taijutsu.
Toppuu charges at Yakudatsu, sword drawn again. Yakudatsu prepares another thunderbolt.
Yakudatsu: Lightning Style: Thunderbolt!
The thunderbolt is thrown at Toppuu again, but this time, Toppuu buries his first sword into the ground. It attracts the lightning, and relayed it into the ground. Toppuu draws his father’s sword…
Toppuu: Dance of the Crescent Moon
The jutsu confuses Yakudatsu, which gives Toppuu enough time to get close enough. Toppuu slashes open
Yaku’s carrying bag, which causes all of the contents to fall out. A Fire Scroll appears as well.
Toppuu: You mean all this time, we’ve been fighting for nothing!
Yakudatsu: Don’t tell me you have a fire scroll too?
Toppuu (showing him the red scroll): Yea, we do.
Yakudatsu: Dammit. Sorry about that.
Toppuu: Dyno, UN, Stop!
Dyno (mid-fight): Why!
Toppuu: We have the same scrolls!
Dyno (turning around): What!
Toppuu: Stop fighting! There is no need!
Dyno and UN stop the taijutsu battle. They grab their fallen comrades and move to the two swordsmen.
Shinku (waking up): Wha…What happened?
Dyno: Misunderstanding, we have the same scrolls.
Shinku (groggily): All that….for nothing….
Dyno: Yep.
Shinku: …. Damn…..
The two teams apologize, and give one another compliments. They wait for the two fallen shinobi to heal up again before parting ways. Shiga and team return to the mansion to relay the story to team seven.

Another day passes. More and more teams arrive to the mansion with their scrolls. Each winner is taken to the hospital and looked after for the next part.
The Survival Exam has come to an end. The stats are as follows. Leaf: 9; Cloud: 9; Rock: 9; Sand: 9; Mist: 6; Grass: 3; Rain: 6; Waterfall: 6; Star: 3; Stone: 3; Hot Water: 3; Valley; 3.
