Chapter Three Part Two: The Conflict

Naruto and Co. are tracking the thieves to a location in the Land of Rivers, between the Land of Fire and Land of Wind. Akamaru and Aomaru are leading the pack. Aomaru resembles Akamaru but has a slight blue colored fur. Suddenly the two Ninken stop, Naruto looks at Kiba. Kiba nods, verifying that the dogs have found the thieves. They are in a large cave, right next to a river. The two teams are waiting on the outside of the cave, where Naruto’s team is laying a trap, while Kiba’s is ready for a frontal attack.
Kameha, Patsuta, and Fukutsu finish the wire/kunai/fire trap. They all position around the top and sides of the cave.
Naruto and Kiba nod at each other, they burst in with Kiba and Shiga with the frontal attack.

Kiba and Shiga: Man Beast Clone
The dogs turn into human clones on the run…
Kiba and Shiga: Fang Over Fang!
The two taijutsu attacks hit the group huddled around the fire inside the cave, however Naruto notices something
odd….
Naruto: Kiba! They aren’t real!
Shibi: Hmph! Shibi notices something outside the cave.
Naruto: What is it?
Song: Bad Situation
Shibi: It seems that the thieves knew someone would be tracking them. They are right outside the cavern.
?: Water Style: Violent River Current!
A massive River of water comes pouring into the cave all at once, Naruto and the rest have little time to react…
Outside the cavern before the water attack…
Fukutsu: Hopefully Naruto and the rest get the thieves.
?: That’s hilarious kid, do you really think we wouldn’t know about tracking units? We’ve been waiting here for them to rush in. Hayase, why don’t we give the team down there a wet welcome?
The man is medium height, light brown hair. His forehead brands the Tanigakure headband, along with the rest of his teammates (The Tanigakure headband has two curved lines, with a river down the middle). The tall one is standing outside the cavern, watching Naruto’s attack. The other medium height man is standing next to the first one, with wire in hand.
Hayase: That sounds like an awesome idea.
Ryogawa (The other medium height man): I’ll tie these kids up.
Hayase: Water Style: Violent River Current
The jutsu leads the river straight into the cave.
Song: Reverse Situation
Fukutsu (grinning): hehehehehe
Ryogawa: Shut up kid.
Fukutsu: hehehehehe
Ryogawa: Shut Up!
Suddenly, an earth clone appears from behind Ryogawa. It throws two shuriken, both cut the wires on Patsuta and Kameha.
Patsuta (While weaving signs): Thanks Fukutsu.
Patsuta (To Kawagishi, the first man): Water Style: Water Bullets!
Kawagishi (after weaving handsigns): Water Style: River Torrent!
Two Massive amounts of water collide, while the River Torrent is more powerful.
Fukutsu: Earth Style: Earth Disruption!
The ground crumbles, blocking off the water flow to Naruto. The rest of the team escapes the cavern. Patsuta enters combat with Kawagishi, while Kameha is waiting for the right moment.
Naruto: Thanks Fukutsu.
Naruto jumps off the cavern top, to the waiting Hayase. The three members of team seven engage in the battle with Kawagishi. Kiba’s team goes to assist them when Ryogawa appears in front of them.
Ryogawa: Where do you think you’re going? I’m still here!
Kiba grins, ready for an exciting battle…
The scene moves to Naruto, who’s on a flat area next to the river. He is standing across from Hayase. Authors note: Had this been in an anime scene, or even a manga, I would have the three sets fighting simultaneously. But since this is just pure writing, I would love it if you would just imagine it that way.
Songs: Strong and Strike
Naruto: You guys are pretty confident to be stealing papers and attacking us. You have no idea who you’re dealing with.
Hayase: I don’t care, all that matters is the mission.
Naruto: fine then… (Naruto starts weaving hand signs) Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu
Hayase (while weaving handsigns): You shouldn’t use fire; it’s easily extinguished by water. Water Style: Wild Water Wave!
The two clash, and the water overcomes the fire. But Naruto is nowhere to be seen after the smoke clears.
Naruto (Appearing behind Hayase, with a familiar noise. Song: Shouryuu): You shouldn’t get distracted; it might cause your life. Rasengan!
Hiyase dematerializes into water. Naruto’s Rasengan misses. Hiyase appears under Naruto, giving him an uppercut to the face. Naruto flies up into the air, while weaving hand signs.
Hiyase: You shouldn't be confident, it might bite ya in the ass.
Naruto (Facing the ground): Inferno Style: Extreme Flame Wave
Naruto is analyzing his enemy’s movements and skills. The Inferno Style is the combination of Wind and Fire, giving the Fire Style more power. Naruto developed the name while reading up on his jutsu during his training with the Sarutobis’.
Hiyase dematerializes again, only to be caught up into the inferno. The water evaporates, leaving a "dead" Hiyase. Naruto thinks about the wasted time analyzing his skills. The scene skips to when Team Seven is fighting Kawagishi.
Song: Sarutobi
Fukutsu: Earth Style: Flow Wave!
An earthen wave erupts from the ground, the three genin jump onto the wave with Patsuta and Kameha weaving hand signs.
Kawagishi: Water Style: River Rapids!
Wave like river rapids are sent to combat the earthen wave. As the two collide, the three genin jump off, with Patsuta and Kameha ready to attack.
Kameha: Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!
Patsuta: Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullets!
A barrage of Air Bullets and Phoenix Flowers are sent flying toward Kawagishi. Kawagishi starts weaving hand signs.
Kawagishi: Water Style: Water Wall!
A foot thick water wall is erected in front of Kawagishi. The barrage hits the wall extremely hard, with a bunch of mini explosions. The water wall is destroyed with an explosion, leaving Kawagishi vulnerable.
Patsuta: Now Fukutsu!
Fukutsu (appearing behind Kawagishi): Right!
A bunch of wires entangle Kawagishi, tying him up, with his hands to his sides. Kameha and Patsuta give each other a high five.
Patsuta, Kameha, Fukutsu: We got ‘em!
The three look over to find that Kiba’s team has taken down Ryogawa, and have him covered in Shibi’s insects. Naruto went back into the cave to search for the missing documents. He walks out, with Kiba jumping down next to him.
Song: Heaven Shaking Event
Kiba: Did you find the documents?
Naruto: No, when we get back to the village, we will have to interrogate these two.
Kiba: Sounds good to me, but I don’t think they have what it takes to survive Ibiki.
Naruto(chuckling): Probably not, but at least we will find some good information on the overall plan. If this was a
thieving incident, they would have taken supplies and goods. They wouldn’t even be wearing headbands. Which reminds me, Kawagishi, did the Hidden Valley send you to do this?
Kawagishi: Not sayin’ a word.
Naruto: That’s alright, when you get to Ibiki, you will squeal like a pig.
Kawagishi holds a frightened look on his face, but remains silent.
Naruto: Alright Team Seven and Team Six, let’s get back to the Village!
Both Teams: Right!
