As the sky gets darker, Fukutsu and squad escape Naruto and are trying to find a clearing to rest. They stumble upon a clearing surrounded by relatively large rocks and trees.
Fukutsu: This seems like a good place to make camp. Let’s start building the tents.
Patsuta and Kameha: Ok
As the three sent up camp, Patsuta’s tent drops. The three end up laughing together, moving their friendship forward.
After the tents are set, Kameha lights a fire.
Fukutsu: Who will keep the first watch? I don’t mind doing it now.
Even though Fukutsu says this with confidence, he is very beat up and looks extremely tired.
Patsuta: No Fukutsu, you need to sleep the first two shifts, you have used a lot of chakra for your Earth Style attacks. I think I will take the first watch.
Kameha: Neither of you are taking the first watch. I’ve wasted little to no chakra on my attacks. (Kameha has a slight grin on her face) I have a couple traps I can set up to keep us a little safer.
Patsuta: Ok Kameha, but if you need backup, just let me know. With a smile
Kameha (Smiling Back): Ok, now you two can get some rest, I’ll wake Patsuta in two hours.
Patsuta and Fukutsu: Right
As the two boys retire, Kameha gets to work. She sets up three wire and kunai traps along easy access places, and has a couple strings a rock, so she knows if someone’s trying to go through the not-so-obvious places.
Naruto: *Thinking* Nice idea Kameha, but those are some pretty obvious traps for a high-ranked shinobi such as myself.
Kurama: Don’t get too ahead of yourself there Naruto.
Naruto: I defeated you didn’t I…
Kurama: Hahahaha, yes, but had I been sealed with all of my chakra, that might not have happened.
The two laugh together, remembering back when they weren’t good friends. Naruto decides to go the tougher route, which is filled with rocks and trees. He’s not expecting any traps.
Kameha: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!
A massive fireball comes hurdling towards Naruto. Naruto has little to no places to escape to. He can only stay and fight off the fireball.
Naruto: Water Style: Water Gun Jutsu
Naruto picked up a Water Style Jutsu while he was training with Lord Fukasaku on Mt. Myoboku to perfect his sage training.
The Fireball is extinguished, leaving Kameha vulnerable.
Kameha: Patsuta, Help!
Patsuta rushes to the scene, with a worried look on his face. Naruto is standing in a ring surrounded by trees, holding
Kameha by the feet.
Patsuta: Let her go!
Naruto: Now why would I do that?
Patsuta: Let her go! Or you’ll regret it!
Naruto: *Thinking* Looks like the kid has a soft spot for Kameha. He reminds me of what I would have done if Sakura had been captured when I was his age.
Naruto: I’m not going to regret anything, you won’t attack.
Patsuta starts grinning…
The ground starts breaking underneath Naruto, as Fukutsu bursts from it. Fukutsu’s hand touch the bells….Naruto let’s Kameha go, right as he tries to dodge Fukutsu’s attack.
Fukutsu: Got ‘em!
Kameha and Patsuta: Yes!
Naruto has a massive grin on his face, satisfied with his new team.
Naruto: Well done kids! You three pass the test! I have seen outstanding teamwork, jutsu, and strategy. You three are fit to be Genin. Welcome to Team Seven! I would like you to meet someone.
Naruto starts to change, turning orange and takes on the shape of a Fox… The three new genin are staring at him in awe.
Kurama (in his rather deep voice): I am Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox. Naruto is my jinchuriki, and now my partner. I also welcome you to Team Seven. I’m sure we will need to fight together in the future, and I look forward to it!
Naruto retains his former self, as the kids are still sitting there, silent.
Naruto: Since it’s only about 8 o’clock, how about I treat you guys to some dinner. You three deserve it!
The Three: Awesome!

Naruto and the Three arrive at Ichiraku Ramen. Teuchi and Ayame are making a dish for a man with brown hair in a ponytail, sitting at the bar.
Naruto walks in with the three young ones, and takes a seat next to the brown haired man.
Naruto: I’ll take the usual Old Man Ichiraku, and give one to each of the kids here.
Teuchi: Alright! Who are these three?
Naruto: These are my new students’, I am the new leader of Team Seven.This is Patsuta, Fukutsu, and Kameha. They just passed their test to become Genin, so I thought I would treat them. And Iruka Sensei here too.
Iruka is sitting there, tears in his eyes, remembering the night when Naruto said he would pay for his meal one day.
Iruka (Looking at Naruto): Hey Naruto, how are you doing?
Naruto: Starving after giving these three their test! They really put me on my toes.
Iruka: Another crop of excellent student’s that I got the privilege to teach. Fortunately, they weren’t a bunch of troublemakers like you were. (With a grin)
Naruto (chuckling): Thanks Iruka Sensei, I appreciate that.
Iruka: You know Naruto, you don’t have to call me Sensei anymore. After all, we are equals.
Naruto: I know, it’s just hard getting used to that.
Patsuta: You taught Naruto Sensei too!
Iruka: Why yes I did Patsuta. I used to treat him here all the time. He was a troublemaker back then, and is now the teacher….
Teuchi: Here’s your food.
Naruto and Team 7: Let’s Eat!
As Naruto was eating, Iruka was remembering all the good times they had together in the very same spots they were sitting in. He was happy for Naruto that he had a team, and wished him the best of luck.
Iruka: Alright Naruto, I have to go, nice to see ya again. Thanks for the food.
Naruto (with his mouth slightly full): No problem Iruka Sen… Iruka, have a good night.
Iruka: You too. (Looks at the three kids) You three be good now, or else you’ll have to come back to the Academy.
The Three: Ok Iruka Sensei, we will!
Team 7 continues to eat and laugh, while conversing with Teuchi and Ayame, The scene fades out….
