[Theory] Naruto isn't good with genjutsu moves because...

Naruto has the Yang part of Kurama who influences him, the part that is most focused on Body, Life, Physical Energy, Instincts, but...

This 'unbalance' doesn't come from anywhere. It could be rebalanced, when Kurama is complete and gets its Yin part, that has the Mind, Imagination, Spiritual Energy, Knowledge.

How could I get to that answer?

The Elder Son of the Sage of Six paths was blessed with the Sage's Eye Powers, which is specialized in Yin techniques (Genjutsus, Energy based Ninjutsu [fire, lightning]). Sasuke have both Fire and Lightning, and he has quite good mastery over Genjutsus. Itachi had mastery over Fire, and he surpassed Sasuke in terms of Genjutsus.

The Younger Son of the Sage of Six paths was blessed with the Sage's Body Powers, which is specialized in Yang techniques (Taijutsu, Physical Ninjutsu [wind, earth, water]). Naruto has Wind, Hashirama has Earth and Water. Both Naruto and Hashirama can give life to Water+Earth based jutsus, this is, Mokuton.

I don't think Naruto will ever learn genjutsu.
I don't have any reason to doubt.. its just my gut feeling...

Look at Juriya... he's a masterfully skilled ninja, but even admitted he sucks on genjutsu.

The funny thing is that Kishi gave Naruto a cheat code...
Kage Bunshin for training + friendship with Kurama.
Obviously, the end of the manga was less than a year after that.

Naruto shouldn't have been, he was an orphan and the Jinchuuriki of Kurama.
It'd be weird if teachers gave him attention aside from Iruka.

You know, I'm actually sad that genjutsu wasn't used as much as Taijutsu or Ninjutsu.

I agree, that's not Naruto style. But with time, Naruto could be able to have more insight in the arts of genjutsus, and so he could repel them with more ease.

Not sure how that first sentence helps your argument. It Seems to be the exact thing I said except mine made grammatical sense.

If it doesn't mean he's book-smart to have done research about snakes in preparation for fighting Orochimaru, please elaborate as to what you think it means.

I wasn't talking about the chuunin exams, I was talking about when they were in genin school.

Just to be clear when I say "book-smart", I don't mean he gets all his smarts from books. I mean he has a very analytical mind. Sasuke is gifted to have both book-smarts like Sakura and good instincts like Naruto. He's just not as studious as Sakura nor does he just lead with his gut/feelings like Naruto.

I think he's always had some potential in that field (albeit very little potential), but obtaining the Yin half would likely accentuate that, making it easier for him to learn.

Does this necessarily imply that he will learn genjutsus? Not really.
Nevertheless, it's worth noting that he may obtain the opportunity to further one of his weakest aspects, regardless of whether that opportunity is taken advantage of.

Even if this occurrence is not likely to happen, this thread has decent supporting evidence and farily well thought-out premises.

Genjutsu requires good chakra control to manipulate to connect With some one you also need the knowledge too connect with mind and .manipulate sences. naruto is a great fighter but he will never be able to do that not. Smart enough it requires you controlig cerebal nervous system with chakra control. Naruto will never be able to do it like he will never be able to do medical ninjutsu.
