Naruto has a great sense of kinesthetic intellegince. In that aspect he is one of the smartest. He's also the guy who thought of making clones before the Pein fight, and found away around Nejis byakugan. So he does have good strategy as well. He is definitely a goof ball though.

I agree with some of your points, but disregarding him as a threat because he doesn't think is a big NO. However Naruto is not precise in what he does, meaning he still is Naruto at heart. He isn't supposed to be a smart shinobi in a sense, more of ''follow his heart'' kind of guy.

You are half right but didnt naruto is the only one who sensed Ashura and indra chakra in himself and sasuke..
