Naruto is the king of anime

I realize One Piece is more popular in Japan but lets face it. the anime is shit.

Naruto has been going strong ever since it started. Every twist and turn has sparked endless discussion on the internet and elsewhere. Naruto rakes in millions constantly and has evolved into a gargantuaine cash cow franchise with no signs of slowing down. Dragon Ball Super is terrible but Boruto has proved with the recent Gaiden arc Pierriot refuses to go the route of Toei and shit on its flagship titles.

Boruto manga is shaping up to be a dark and intense ride, even after almost 20 years the writers still know how to grab people's attention and curiosity.

There have been many great anime/manga that have come and gone, many having rivaled Naruto in captivating storytelling, but none have stood the test of time in both anime and manga as Naruto has. Naruto is the king franchise of anime because of its staying power of its story and characters and the talent backing it and keeping it from devolving into shit like Toei owned properties.

I agree with what u said in so many levels . Boruto which is suppose to be a simple spinoff is surprising everyone with its GREATNESS . Discussions and theories are floating all around just like the time with Naruto manga . It's the universe kishi created it's very good and interesting . And the constant creation of badass villains in design and everything . NARUTO/BORUTO ARE THE BEST ANIME IN EXISTENCE

I mean, they're all pretty even- other than Bleach...I just fell into Naruto first. Weird to say it, but as popular as DBZ might be- it's never been on the front cover of Time Magazine. Pokemon is still globally more popular and more relevant than any other media Japanese export.

I don't follow the show but even if we're talking quality, the new Sun & Moon series has better consistent animation than One Piece, Naruto and DBZ combined. If we're talking the most prolific and long-reigning anime. Sorry, it's Pokemon.​

I thought the Naruto anime was good, but the best ever might be a stretch to me. It all truly comes down to preference. To you it's the greatest and there's nothing wrong with that or you having that opinion. But to blanket statement it as the best while calling out other anime flaws is confusing. Because the Naruto anime had big flaws as well.

Nah for mainstream anime its DBZ. And if DBZ got a filler fever like SP it sure will be more entertaining than Naruto filler. But DB/DBZ never needs a filler stories to be great anime if not the greatest. HxH is the other great anime.

DBZ has plenty of filler, and Dragon Ball Super has ruined DBZ for me
