Even without starting in SM, there's nothing stopping him from summoning toads or using multi-shadow clones to buy him time to absorb senjutsu. He uses them to stall for everything else.

People who say MS Sasuke neg diffs SM Naruto are never to be taken seriously. They're logic is short-sided and broken. I don't know how you ended up in a convo about this, but you've already won so don't waste your time

He was referring to the presence of Indra. Sasuke alone he could handle (notice I didn't say beat, but handle), Sasuke+Indra required more than just his SM powers and the fact that he beat Pein.

Either way, it wouldn't have been a neg diff fight for either one of them
