I've seen all the episodes but ready little Manga so I really don't know what's cannon and what isn't.

From the episode Kurpaika was week before achieving that power that allowed him to use those chains.. Sasuke wasn't. He was already a genius and strong.

I do agree there back story and attitude is the same..

I love Killiua. He work for all his powers and very realistic and smart..
