The uzumaki are a branch of the senju
the sages message to the bijuus about how they are going to know what real power is, is obviously referring to naruto but why?
As mardara states the sage's mother obtained power after eating the fruit, but it was the sage who discovered the secret of ninjutsu and spread it.
Why did each of his sons only inherent each half of his powers body=wood eyes=doujutsu?simple because the blood was thinning.

The sages goal was peace why did he need to choice one of his son to carry his legacy? it's clear the sage needed to pass on something to one of the sons which i believe was the power of his mother.why did he do it because he was never strong enough to kill the juubi and didn't inherent the fruits power he only had the juubi's power rennegan and woo.

The power the mother gain didn't disappear but hide and is inherented by one decendant every millennium,the sage had to choice who would carry it until a new successor would appear.Naruto is the millennium successor.juubi notic

also i believe sages chosen line went from the senju to uzumaki to naruto which would explain kushina's special chakra

if you are saying uzmakis are connected to senjus then i would say no...! because naruto need to be sage so he can't be senju...! senju is one half of sage.. and if you are saying naruto is successor of sage then i would say it's pretty obvious...!

yes I am saying uzumakis are a branch of the senju, and through them naruto became the successor of the sage's mother's power.the sage only carried the blood but chose the senju to pass on her power.
the sage never inherent all his mother's power just the juubi's.
naruto will and unlike the sages mother who used it for war he will master it.

The Uzumaki are still a special clan. The only known Jinchuriki of Kurama are Uzumaki. They know the strongest sealing jutsu's mentioned in Naruto. I honestly think they have a closer relation to the Sage then a lot of people care to admit.
