Another random thought of mine the so6p chose the younger son the be his succesor. which means he may have inherited the bijuu as well, while the older son could only control them with his eyes thus having to fight for control over the bijuu which may mean just like madara he could only control it for a fixed amount of time which is why he had to summon kurama, if not in his control it was a hindrance
Like they stated in the manga that hashi played with the bijuu like pets, plural,and could bend them to his will what if the younger son had this ability also and could interact with them just like his father and hashi,remember minato released kurama and it was still on a rampage just not a focused on the village.
In the cut scene from the naruto game hashi released it from madara and then put a seal of some kind on kurama and put him to sleep which was the best thing for hashi in that battle as he could handle madara without kurama...
Anyways if the younger son inherited the bijuu and was made kurama's host then had conquered kurama with love much like naruto did maybe he created the kcm and the bm to have kurama's power consolidated in a persons form.
Differing from KB and gyuuki which only have shown full bm like when naruto was training with him and also the red chakra cloak up to two or three tails i think. that is the same thing naruto had done before he had control over it but once he made kurama start working with him he gains these new bijuu powers that we have not seen in any other jinchuriki host's forms and we have seen quite a few of them...
What i'm getting at is that uzumaki's were chosen to be kurama's host for more reasons then just their longevity them being descendants of the younger son may have also gotten his personal traits. As mito offered advice to kushina that love was how you deal with being a host.
That could also be an uzumaki trait much like hatred and desire for more power is an uchiha trait that almost all uchiha we know have displayed. if i'm right then the uzumaki's are chosen for their lineage to be its host because only they can handle the hatred that it is made of with their strong sense of love for others this also allows them to unlock the nine-tails full potential.
Because you can use kurama's form along with keeping naruto's body intact and in control unlike Bee where he has control but he is in full bijuu form to use its full potential.
From my stand point naruto has an extreme tactical adavantage over all other jinchuriki's and this just seems odd to me and its not just that kurama is the strongest he also has major differences in his and naruto's modes than anyone esle and i think that is the younger son's or sage's doing.
More likely younger son because kurama was still a lil pup fox when he was close to death and the younger son was the one known for his strong sense of love for the world.
Having this trait is what unlucks kurama's or possibly the other tailed beasts true ability.
Anyways sorry for the wall of text but please someone let me know what they think on this or give me some feedback onto your thoughts tyvm much appreciated to those who do
