It seems as though Rinnegan genjutsu cannot be broken unless the victim has a Rinnegan. On top of that, Naruto wasn't impervious to IT but Sasuke was impervious. This is a clear sign that a Rinnegan genjutsu cannot be broken without another Rinnegan.
