Sasuke clearly sensed danger that's why he pulled sword out.
Do you all really think that sasuke didn't notice anything.

IMO kishi deliberately made this panel in order to continue his manga after taking some break.

Here is my thought how part 3 will start:

there will be no news regarding sasuke for a quite sometime.then sakura will tell naruto about that.it may link to the panel in which sasuke sensed somebody hidden behind the trees.

Naruto will then go to search for sasuke.naruto may find some new village who exist faraway from the other shinobi villages and they have no connection with other villages.sasuke may get kidnapped by some really pretty strong shinobis of that village.

I thought about this just because it links with the journey of sasuke to visit the whole world and sasuke noticed something in very last chapter.

Any thoughts about this?

Well we can't say that there will be no part 3 for sure.things will clear up after kishi's upcoming interview.

I think it indicates that there is no more fights and troubles in ninja world. Sasuke is a ninja so he always get the impression that some one is following him. But it's not. Cause there isn't any bad guys.

I think we are missing a page not sure, waiting for *********** to see. If we got all pages then i could see it happening your way if we were to get a part 3. But I think kishi putting down the pen for naruto and it someone else who will pick up on the mini series for his kids.
