[Discussion] Naruto is not dead.

As we know the host will almost always die once the beast is extracted from them, we're also over-looking 2 things.

1. The hosts always had to have a seal and breaking the seal to extract the beast is probably what resulted in their deaths.

2. Naruto himself broke his own seal in order to access BM.

For these reasons I highly doubt that Naruto is dead. Maybe on the brink, or heavily drained; but not dead.

What do you guys think?

Last time I checked his mother only survived due to her having a 'special' chakra. Just because she survived doesn't mean it's Uzumaki trait to survive Biju extraction.

To answer both of you just because Obito (Who has never extracted bijuu from another Uzumaki) says that the clan is something special doesn't mean that it's an Uzumaki trait to survive this. He's simply stating her clan is something because SHE survived. How would he know of the clans abilities to survive Biju extraction exactly? He isn't.

I'm sorry. But where does it state that apart from having great fuinjutsu that Uzumaki's can ALL survive Biju extractions? Nowhere in the manga does it state that. Bring evidence before making a point. My logic is pretty sound, so please. Log out.

If that is true, then why didn't the past Jinchuurikis just do it that way when it was time for them to retire?

This has already been answered.

1. He is half Uzumaki
2. 2 of the best medics in NV are right there they can at least keep him alive
3. Minato can give him the other half of Kurama
4. He still has chakra from the other TB

Those are good points fair enough. But I think when they die of extraction it's not really something medic's can heal I'm pretty sure it would not be chakra loss or injury or whatever but simply life-force draining. I'm really not so sure how just replacing his tailed beast with another would save him but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Chakra from other TB is not a TB so I really don't think that one makes a difference but those are just my Opinions.
