Naruto has the same markings on his face as the brothers because they bonded with Kurama's chakra on a molecular level and Kushina was pregnant with Naruto when she was a jinchuuriki. Also, the will of fire is all around the village the younger bother inherited vitality. Also, he is able to mostly heal because of Kurama.

The sage not acquiring the Rinnegan until after the fight with the Juubi may be true, however the 'six paths' are the six jutsu of the Rinnegan. So there would be no reason to call the Sage what he was called (six paths) unless he had the Rinnegan.



His title of being called the Sage of 'Six Paths' is based the six jutsu associated with the Rinnegan. Naruto is not a reincarnated version of SO6P unless he acquires Rinnegan. Plain and simple.:shrug:

the fact that sennin mode has "sage" mode in its title kinda contradicts it being directly related to the So6Ps .
Sage mode has the word sage in it just like Six Paths of Pain does, but it doesnt mean you have all the same power as the So6p himself

Being a sennin is the japanese word for sage, so being in sennin mode is the same as being in sage mode (different language). Also the word sage is also synonymous with a person of great power, therefore the Sage of 'Six Paths' is a powerful person with the Rinnegan.
