While you do raise some good points, you seem to have overlooked the fact that Madara and Obito have been preoccupied with handling the Ten Tails. As you've seen when they try out the tail beast bombs, they are trying to see how it works. They need to see how to work the strings. The fact that Lee hit Madara was not at all out of context. Madara was rather relaxed, underestimating everything and everyone except the Juubi. Lee caught him with intense speed. He has been letting Obito take lead, because he primarily wants to see Obito's capabilities as well as where his allegiance stands. He knows that he can obliterate the army and Naruto, but first wants to get the Juubi into its optimal stage. Now, however, the cord linking him and Obito to the Juubi has been cut, which means he will undoubtedly be furious. With that said, we may see a lot more of his wrath. The Kyuubi is keeping up with the Juubi for the sole reason that the Juubi is not at it's fullest capacity as well as the fact that it is not being used properly. Don't forget, this is the first time Obito and even Madara have used a tail beast of this size and prowess. Furthermore, Obito still has Rinnegan powers that have yet to be brought to light. I urge you to keep in mind that Masashi is showing us his plans at a slow pace. We found out why Obito was able to use his Mangekyou Sharingan for so long without going blind (Senju DNA) and why he was so impacted by Rin's death (the fact that Uchiha are biologically different in terms of dealing with a traumatic loss). With that said, Masashi is slowly showing us the clearer picture and why he has done what he has.
