Naruto is kages Level?

kages level is way way beneath naruto's level. And that's truth, anyone who denies is living in denial.

its admit able that sometimes naruto comes out with brilliants planned.. but during harsh battle .. he didn't think enough.. or fighting with a tactic or strategy.. most of the times he wins due to his determinations and his powerfull strike.. he until now needs enlighten from his companions .. if not he will totally lost.. fighting blindly.. because he is straight forward fighter.

yeah just like in his harsh battle vs pain , he couldnt think of anything like using loads of clones to withstand shinra tensei or anything...

But that doesn't mean he is fit to be a Kage. Although he has grown he lacks intelligence and experience.

and i believe this war is going to be narutos defining point where he will become more wise as he is realising the danger that his friends may die so if he does become hokage i dont believe he will be as reckless as people may think. he may be somewhat like the raikage as he can be reckless at times like what happened with bee the way he acted you wouldnt think he should be kage yet he is the leader of the allied shinobi

In terms of power naruto is high kage, however in terms of skill set he doesn't cut the jonin mark for me and sits at chunnin level.

True the requirements for jonin hasnt been explicitly been given in the manga therefore neither parties can make a claim for naruto being jonin or not. However the manga has given us hints of the skill set a jonin level ninja requires though ill admit some jonins do not meet these skill set.

The first is that those in the jonin category usually have 2 nature manipulation. Something that naruto lacks though quiet alot of jonins havent shown this therefore it isnt limited to naruto, though for example people like gai who uses taijutsu, this requirement would be evaded by him, however not by naruto who uses ninjutsu

Basic knowledge in the field of all 3 ninja arts and to an extent the ability to demonstrate all 3 forms. Though again majority of jonin's havent shown this. however the ability to disrupt your chakra, effectively breaking out of genjutsu is a skill that a jonin who isnt even a genjutsu user should know. Gai might not even know the basic genjutsu however he has shown the ability to know that he is a genjutsu and release himself from it.

Attention to detail and leadership. Naruto has shown some form of attention to detail, however usually its hinted to him. His intelligence feats is also very limited to battle situations and there is more to intelligence than just battle intelligence, but also his way of understanding things are quiet tricky to the extent that kakashi was surprised that jiraiya managed to teach him rasengan, but also kakashi decided not to go down the root of informing naruto about kg's, medic ninjutsu and genjutsu. As for leadership, he hasnt shown much of this unless you consider being the leader of konohamaru, udon and the other girl as leadership.

When judged on power alone then yes he is kage level, however he lacks the other ingredients imo which makes a jonin

Just to elaborate more on this. Base sasuke meets more requirements for jonin than base naruto, though i dont want to turn this into a sasuke vs naruto thread. Firstly he has 2 nature manipulation in raiton and katon. He demonstrated above average skill in ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu, add to this kenjutsu and excels at weapon usage (shurinkenjutsu) in the form of Fuma Shuriken and Sofushasan no Tachi and Soshuriken no Jutsu. Did i forget to add that he can run his raiton through either his sword or shurikens. His base speed is also superior than base naruto's and commands a 4.5/5

His intelligence isnt limited to battle situations but also he has shown leadership skills when he recruited, karin, juugo and suigetsu and made it clear that he was the leader and at first suigetsu wasnt sure of him, however he came to acknowledge sasuke as his superior.

Base sasuke fits the bill for jonin more than base naruto and even then i wouldnt give base sasuke the title of kage

Post above lays out a pretty solid argument but I think Naruto's power level is beyond Kage level but his ability to effectively use it is hampered by his ongoing lack of maturity and focus which tend to cancel out each other. His ability to come up with astonishing solutions to overcome in times of crisis shows what he'll be like later in life...
