It could happen. And why would it 'look wiers'? Some people might argue that Hinata's whole role in this series was for another love intrest. It's possible; and I never said that the other pairings weren't possible.

I disagree, Naruto will at some point realize that Hinata was the one always there for him, even willing to give her life for him, and eventually he will fall in love wit her. Reason I like Naruhina is mainly because Hinata's so much different than Kushina and Naruto needs a bit of that contrast.
