It's unlikely; if Naruto were to get a power-up from the SO6P, it would probably be through meeting a form of his chakra in the subconscious of the Jubi, similar to how Naruto met his parents.

I doubt Naruto would die and become revived with new strength, but it's a faint possibility.

This. I've been telling ppl this exact same thing in other threads. Besides, if he does die, how's he coming back? As for the son goku reference: goku means gorilla in Japanese jus like kurama means fox. No reference to dbz.
