Naruto is fighting someone else's war

My biggest gripe with with the Edo tensei arc is the fact that the manga now has become all about the feud betweet Hashirama and Madara, and the likes of Tobirama and other ancient kages. It stopped focusing on Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Kakashi etc.
Naruto is fighting in a war that was started 80 years ago, by people he doesn't know and has no relationship with. And the character development of the edo characters are very fake beacause they are all flashback-oriented.

I dont get it, we had such a great thing going, with characters like Orochimaru, Itachi, kakashi, Jiraiya, Sasuke and Naruto. There was never a need for Edo tensei to be introduced. I think Kishi used Edo Tensei so the manga could be extended for a longer time, and of course i want the manga to go on forever, but at what cost?

I agree with you, But at this point I feel its everyones war. Hashirama is useless right now, Even if he could move around, Madara already said Hashi can't release his full power anyway.

I mean. If no body does anything they are all goners.

The edo's were needed because as you saw, Naruto and the SA solo'd the zetsu's neg difficulty

Madara was needed because Obito was about to get destroyed

And Naruto and Sasuke needed Madara to heighten there own powers

This war is of every single shinobi, whether they are unnamed fodders or main characters. It is their war.
