Naruto is FAR from over

Even if it isnt directly written and drawn by kishimoto himself naruto still has another good 5 to 10 years value left. Remember naruto isnt just a manga its a business. Kishimotos assistants know the business and are just as much experts on the narutoverse as kishimoto himself. Chapter 700 may not have been widely liked by the viewers but the set up was PERFECT.

Theres millions of dollars left of profit to be made over the coming years and for fans like myself and millions like me we'd all continue to follow the journey of the newer generation. Think of pokemon for a second. The original creator of pokemon has nothing to do with anything of the series anymore, yet pokemons bigger than ever. And if its done right it can easily be done without ruining the brand naruto that kishimoto left here.

If the profit margins and the ratings are what they are expected to be after the end of the contract with this new "mini series" theyre going to extend the contract for years to come. Why? Because thats what the fans want, and the fans WORLDWIDE are going to pay for it.

Say what you want about the ending of the manga and the pairings but the opinion of those who dislike it wont matter because theres still millions that loved it and will spread it to a whole new fanbase and this brand of naruto is going to continue to grow and expand.

There was nothing wrong with the ending i thought it was perfect aha. Alot of people have been complaining tho

Yeah its not going to be offically "canon" if kishi isnt involved but his assistants have been working with kishi for over a decade in naruto, without knowing who wrote it, i assume itd be pretty identical or at least unnoticeable to most fans

Narutos story is over. But im talking about the BRAND naruto and the next gen naruto is just beginning and its not going to just be a mini series

Anything else involving the universe is still possible, but won't be "canon". I mean not technically, but I'll consider them a part of the official story since they were set up in chapter 700.

I'm definitely not opposed to the mini-series, as long as we learn some new background information of several existing characters and elements from the NV (and even the new generation) that wouldn't have been revealed in Part I or II. "Kakashi's Story" is not written by Kishi (it seems like), but hopefully he'll play a great part in the mini-series.
